To anyone who Want's to have the Stock Sony audio Processing back while keeping Android 11 here's what i found on here on the Forums that Works well with any Rom and device (Specially on Xperia phones since it was built for it)

AptX is working now with the latest ROM. Audio Call with the telephone app or other programs over bluetooth not works, I hear a strange tone on the other side.

I spent 4 hours in struggle with androidfilehost - this FS is extremely unstable now and drop download every 1-2 minutes.Maybe BT call issues are connected to lack of hardware encoding/decoding?

i think same goes to call since it requires the Cpu to encode what's going in the Mic and Decode what's going from the other end of the app and we all know software is just bad when it comes to encoding and decoding (unless it decodes low bitrate audio/video)
also if im right The Xperia Z5 Has a Built In DAC maybe that built in DAC is not utilized since it's using software encoding/decoding
Found a temporary/permanent (if you want to stay at this rom) fix to the Low brightness issue in this rom:
Turn off Adaptive Brightness
Turn Off automatic Brightness
That's it the automatic dimming of display should be gone!

No. Like tarkzim said sony has butchered the camera quality of this device and making the 23mp run is still not possible maybe in the future it will but for now it won't run at full 23

Works smooth and good, as previous one, except this moments:
- BT headset didn't transfer any sound on cell or messenger calls
- on any caller app device didn't turn off screen when you bring device close to ear
- I don't test brightness autocontrol, when it switches to minimum untill reboot - just turn off automatic brightness control
Anyway, thanks for keeping updating device!
Hope, you will solve BT issue it really important when you use it in transport.
About the "screen not turning off during call" that might be due to sensors not working since the only way the screen turns off when on call is if the sensor detects no light then only turns back on when a minimum amount of light is detected
Sensors on this os has been an issue for me for months now but still i like the os it's just that idk why the sensors doesn't show up
Specifically the sensor is called ALS (Ambient Light Sensor) this is also used in testing LUX
Fortunately Audio on both Earphones and Speaker (never tried bluetooth since i dont use that) still crashes with a not so satisfying 3sec noise.
Idk why it crashes but this has to do with the dac inside the phone
I dont know if you can try making the issue appear on yours but ill try dumping the logs now so i can send it

Anyone having issues where the phone gets really hot really fast?

it seems LOS power management wasn't configured to limit CPU for background task. From what i see in cpu usage monitoring app, background gets the same amount of CPU clock quota as foreground heavy app.

Hi firstly thank you very much this job. you are doing every month . So , I was waiting excited this update .but have a problem . I did 2 time and donwloaded tried but something is wrong. Twrp finished well successful ,when system restart then phone starting twrp back tried restart lineaos system can not open . Can you check it please ? thank you

So happy to use my Z5 with the last Android version, almost new
Only issue I've encountered is with the SD card: when used to extend internal memory, the phone was constantly rebooting after 30 seconds or so. Works like a charm after removing the SD card.
This is a well known issue and currently not fixable by us.
Please use an SD card only as removable memory.
