It's time to move on from Android 7. Some apps I use now require 8 as the minimum level.

AptX and SBS works fine for music. I use Open Camera with continuous AF so pictures are good enough. With video you should do some tests, cause sound source by default records silence and you need to choose correct source manually.

I'm newbie in Android. I had a problems with my phone, finally I installed 14.1 Sumire (Stable) by Raid, but it's not stable on my phone. Google maps are stucking randomly, Some apps even can't start etc.

I would like to test ROM from this topic but I've problem with TWRP. I have E6653. I can't boot latest version of TWRP from this topic (I've tried all TWRP from tarkzim's download and all are not working on my phone). A did a lot of tests and finally I found working TWRP from other topic (TWRP-3.0.2-2-E6653). Why I can't even boot tarkzim's TWRP? Phone is starting but it's stucking on "Sony" logo. I tried to boot 3.0.2-2 and install ROM from this topic, but I got an error on the beginning of installation (I assume, that's because of not correct TWRP?). What should I check to find out why it's not working?

Anyway I found these issues:
-phone encryption works, but after reboot the sim card keeps asking to be unlocked making the phone unusable.
-twrp can't decrypt phone. Any way to fix this? What are your modifications to twrp? @tarkzim
-just want to report that NetGuard blocks all traffic, in any case. That's a known bug for some LineageOS builds. So I use Afwall+ now.

I'm very sad I can't keep encryption in my phone, other than this it's perfect.

I remember there is an option to lock the sim card with pin codes, maybe you have enabled it?

For decryption in TWRP, I can't make it work on my TWRP builds, so there is no way to decrypt it under recovery for now.

I'm not sure about what happened with NetGuard related issues TBH, will dig into it on my free time.

• Updated to Android 11.0.0_r46 with October security patches.
• Upstream updates and fixes.
• Now it will detect your REAL model name, so you might be able to be recognized by stock flasher.

Thank you so much for all of your hard work, this ROM is near-perfect as a daily driver, you did an outstanding job!
I have a small request though, if you could please look into it.

This ROM has just one issue for me right now, in that it doesn't allow for SIM access for reading/writing contacts using apps like Contact2SIM, for example.
Back in CM14.1, this was easily solved by disabling SIM batch operations, as described here.
Would it be possible to do something similar for this ROM as well?

after flash ROM ,Gapps ,magisk back to first page of recovery and go to advanced options and tap "fix contexts". It fixed my permissions and I was able to using of internal storage.

Turns out I was using an outdated version of the app that simply didn't work properly on Android 11.
Thanks for mentioning this, your reply led me to actually checking the version and figuring this out!

First of all: thank you very much for all your work! I have installed the latest version on my E6653 without Gapps, but unfortunately (at least on my device) it is not usable yet for daily use. The reason: whenever I launch the browser - indispensable on a smartphone - the system crashes, and the phone reboots without showing any error message.
Could you imagine what might be the cause? And if there might be a fix? I did not thouroughly test the remaining system functions extensively, but it seems that everything else (camera, sound, SD card and the other default apps) seem to work.
Without a browser, though, you cannot even download something to install like F-Droid or read the news and the like...
Hopefully there can be done something about it or you have a suggestion what I might try to make the browser work normally. For now my Xperia is bricked, but I have another working phone with Lineage OS on it, so I can live with that. Anyway, I will follow the development of this Lingeage version...
