Hello. I'm not sure if this is software or hardware problem: phone boots into OS as usual, but after few minutes max screen brightness drops to somewhere around 30%, no matter other settings, moving brightness slider from 0 to 30% brightness changes as usual, but after 30% brightness stop increasing, it is very dim and unusable for me. Any ideas how to fix/debug this ? Also, even at 30% brightness and doing literally nothing second quarter of the phone from top getting unusually hot.

FYOI. I have seen multiple people compaining about screen brightness(not this forum) and high temperature with this ROM.

This is good rom but unusable for me, high temperature and broken screen brightness, it would be perfect if we fix this issues.
I switched to LOS 7.1.1 with stock kernel (based off 32.2.A.5.11) it runs very cold but suffer some app crashes

ah i used this already nothing really happened still the same issue where im having like a buffering issue when using my external dac

I don't know if this will work for you, but there's also a magisk module for patching audio policy,you could give it a shot:

Does anyone know how to make WhatsApp Audio recording for voice messages work with this rom?
I guess it may have to do with the audio policy and microphone volume level, but don't really have a clue where to start -
@Berni-0815 or @tarkzim you have an idea?

Regarding the heat, cpu throttling and battery drain issues, i deleted several LOS system apps (and replaced them with Google apps from playstore), used MindtheGapps (not Opengapps) and installed naptime for getting cpu cores into deep sleep more quickly.
Now my CPU cores for first cpu are on 384Mhz for most of the time in onscreen idle (check with an app like DevCheck or Simple System Monitor) and cpu goes quicker into deep sleep mode when not using the phone

Having an issue with FM Radio. For me, it does not seem to work. LineageOS FM Radio starts (does not crash), but then not much is happening on the application screen. I can click on the play button, it will react (change to stop button shape), but nothing will happen. Also am able to select the Radio Stations option, however once there, it will get stuck on Getting stations progress bar. If I remove the headphones, it will detect that and prompt me to plug in the headphones. Do note that I don't have SIM card in the phone, only WiFi and want to use over-the-air FM radio without WiFi/mobile data.
Thank you for any info on this!
Just did some more fiddling. After re-plugging the headphones, when application was running, it started working and was actually able to tune in some stations.

Can we again nicely ask developer to address this issue, please, this is dealbreaker, this ROM is very solid effort, just need to push it for endgame ! please ! @tarkzim
