Than you for the log, I have contacted you with further information. Would be great if you were able to test and fix this with me!
Problem solved, Provider name was not enabled under Access Point Names in network settings, also the phone app was not set as default app (this is a clean install) roaming on or off makes no difference. Thank you very much for solving this mystery for me:good:

So.. did you have data working in Lineage at any time? If yes, then did you try to redo the APN config?

Correct I fiddled around with apn config. But not sure when:D so now after I got data working with YAAP again should I just do a factory reset and cleanflash again? Will a restore overwrite APN settings.

Did a new clean flash and got the data back!
And then it disappeared again after reboot, never to be seen again.

With or without the APN tweaks?
Just now. I took screenshots of APN settings in YAAP then I restored Lineage and dirtyflashed again on top. Still no data access.
I then compared the APN settings from YAAP to Linage and they are exactly the same.
So, it works after clean flash setup and enable but reboot and it's gone:confused:
YAAP gives lots of options for preferred network type, the one below is auto selected.
NR/LTE/TDSCDMA/CDMA/EvDo/GSM/WCDMA
Maybe that's what makes the difference?
On YAAP when Data is used it says LTE+ in the status bar.

Sorry for clogging the board, I continued testing the data issue.
After clean flash no APN is automatically selected so no Data is available enabling data during setup does not work properly, after a wait it says data enabled but in fact its not. Enabling APN in settings after initial setup brings up data and LTE shows up in Status bar. And data works I can access the internet via the Browser.
Rebooting the phone results in no more data access??
I'm attaching syslog for working and after reboot.
It's OK if you don't not want to pursue this, I might be the only one with this issue and YAAP is working for me. but it would be nice to find out what's wrong.

Are the APN settings reset after reboot?

I just reboot and try again, don't change anything.
I don't think the actual values are changed. The APN is still enabled if that's what you mean.
The only difference between syslog 1 and 2 is the reboot in between.
Data OK/syslog/reboot/syslog(No data)

Hi @T1mb3

It seems another developer found a way to pass the SafetyNet without Magisk ( see https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=83882573&postcount=23 ). May I ask if it is possible to backport this logic on LOS 17.1/18.0 too?

Related patch: https://github.com/robertoglxda/ker...mmit/75c20ccb7c15f964aaf412599a4a7e260bf2528a ( I think it's only this one but feel free to approach the dev yourself )

Thank you in advance :)
Hi,
He actually messed the authorship with that.
But in any case, it's no allowed in LineageOS: https://github.com/LineageOS/charter/blob/master/device-support-requirements.md#safetynet

NO Data from Carrier Fixed!
The problem comes from using NikGapps-Omni Package, NikGapps -Basic is OK !
Finding out why is above my paygrade but at least I found out the culprit. Happy Flashing all:D

Yeah, that patch is really not that great. You can pass safetynet locking the bootloader (it should be possible also with LineageOS) on the OP5. In that case you don't need the linked patch :)
