If anyone is on the fence about flashing these latest builds, I can confirm they are extremely stable. VoLTE works perfectly with sending SMS, fingerprint authentication works, and battery life is very good. The only issue is, Hey Google hotword detection is broken and doesn't work at all (unless you have Pixel Buds like I do)

I'm not sure how to interpret this, but maybe it will help someone with the Chrome issue. In TWRP, I did a backup of Data with the "bad" behavior with Chrome. Then I did the flashes (OTA, Evol zip) as described above. I think that the Chrome problem was fixed (tried for over 10 minutes). Then in TWRP, I did a restore of the "bad" Data and rebooted. Chrome is still good! So is it something about vendor that is different? I don't know much about vendor...maybe someone can see the difference in the vendor versions?
