Bro, the pulse music player equalizer is not working either with the dirac sound enhancer on or off. I tried installing another music player(BlackPlayer) but the problem is still there.
I tried to check what the problem by checking different parameters.
1. First i found equalizer works for some music and doesn't for others (I tried to find this checking the properties of the music file and found that music having same properties sometimes behaves similar
2. Then i tried to change music back and forth and found that same music sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work.
3. Then i tried installing another application the same continued to occur.

Please give some fix brother.

I just realized that when turning on the battery saver option to on, then among other restrictions, the dark theme is applied mandatory. This may be a noob question, but I was under the impression that the dark theme saves battery only on amoled displays. So, if this is correct, and since the poco x3 pro has an ips display, there is probably no battery saving by applying the dark theme.
Can some more experienced and knowledgeable members comment if the above is valid statement?

Also is there a way to separate battery saver from the dark theme (or maybe the developer can do something about it) as quite a few people with vision problems do not like the dark mode but still need to use battery saver.

Your statement is absolutely right brother.
But the feature is backed into the rom. Currently based on what I know, we can't use light theme while using battery saver. Developers might be able to solve the problem. So, it's upto our developer now.

Hey guys. I have noticed what may be a bug on this ROM. However, I would appreciate feedback from the user base so as to ensure that the issue is not isolated to me but is in fact a reproducible event.

The issue relates to adaptive brightness. I prefer to have my brightness at 30% in the dark and 50% and above in all other light conditions. I have observed that whilst adaptive brightness learns my preferences for a while, at times it would just default to 0% brightness in dimly lit environments. I would then be constrained to "retrain" the adaptive brightness once or twice to get it back on track.

This happens mostly after I put the phone to charge, restart the device or at times, just at random if I leave the device asleep for a while.

Has anyone else faced this?

Hi, i just installed the rom, so far so good (and i'm loving it).
I just Wanted to know if there is a way to get the "Now Playing" feature.
@yasitoo
Brother, I also don't find the option in the settings yet or maybe I didn't try enough. But I noticed one thing. I searched for "now playing" in the settings and it gives 2 results
1. Now Playing
2. Now Playing History

Search gives the result. So maybe it should be present somewhere, but it might have been disabled. I'm not sure though. If it is possible to get the feature working it is going to be a nice addition to the already great rom.

I have another question though. I saw that on the previous version, maybe 3.6 or 3.7 version of pixel plus UI, there was a status bar tile named "FPS Counter" which shows FPS on the screen for games or anything, but I don't find the tile anymore on 3.8. If you guys know anything about it Please let me know...
Thank you guys...

Yeah that's what I've figured out too. Tried some tricks with shortcuts and activity launchers without any success. There is some dependencies like "Android intelligent system" and "Pixel Ambient services"; Since these two are already installed and up to date, there must be something else, maybe another service/framwork that i'm not aware of.

I ran into a problem.
I've been using this rom for over a week now. But for past 2 days my phone weirdly restarting itself. I tried to find if there's any "Scheduled power on /off" function enabled, but didn't find it. Please guys let me know if there's such option causing it.
Let me know if anyone else faced the problem and what could the fix be...
Thank you....

This rom is amazing, very fast and stable, without any bugs and amazing battery idle time ( 2-3% overnight). I run the antutu test just to see how it performs and to record it here. The rom is a winner, in stock miui 12.5.2.0, it scored 557500 approximately (i do not recall the exact figure), with PPUI and magisk root 588242 and with PPUI without magisk 589285 !!!

So @chrisdlc119 keep up the excellent work, i just wish you could answer if you can include in the next build, the call recording and also a switch to separate the dark mode from the battery saving mode, or you can exclude it completely, as it is useless in ips screens, with no savings whatsoever.

@ShihabHT, No such option in my case, except the battery saving scheduler which is irrelevant

Noob question. Sorry if you can't ask here, I thought it was appropriate.

There's no way to install the MIUI camera in Pixel Plus? I need video stabilization! :(
Gcam does not work properly.

Pixel Plus UI + MIUI Camera... perfect match!
I do not think you can install the stock miui camera, but you can probably install ANX camera which is a MIUI camera port for AOSP roms. You can see this video
but you have to be rooted

!!!!! EDIT: I tried to install it myself on PPUI but it is not working for me.

    Any fix or updates?

Thanks, brother. I updated to 3.9 but the random restart problem still exists.

I have some important questions though.
Is this rom based on OSS vendor? I mean should I download the firmware only (Not MIUI stock rom) and flash the firmware file, then flash the rom and then format and restart?
Or should I go back to stock MIUI firmware and then flash Pixel Plus UI?
And if this rom is based on OSS vendor, from which version of Pixel Plus UI rom is OSS based rom?

Someone who has the knowledge please answer these questions...

NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.

    CLEAN FLASH :

    - Download the latest build
    - Reboot to recovery.
    - Take a backup.
    - Flash recommended firmware
    - Flash the latest build
    - Format Data
    - Flash DFE [If you want to decrypt else u can skip]
    - Reboot :p

    DIRTY FLASH :
    - Download the latest build
    - Reboot to recovery
    - Flash recommended firmware
    - Wipe Dalvik and Cache
    - Flash the latest build
    - Flash DFE [If you want to decrypt else u can skip]
    - Reboot :p

    What works?

Wifi | RIL | Mobile data | GPS | Camera
    Flashlight | Camcorder | Bluetooth | Fingerprint reader | Lights | Sound | vibration
    Almost everything

    What doesn't work?

    Nothing yet
    You tell me! :p
