there is already new update v3.9
Thanks, brother. I updated to 3.9 but the random restart problem still exists.

I have some important questions though.
Is this rom based on OSS vendor? I mean should I download the firmware only (Not MIUI stock rom) and flash the firmware file, then flash the rom and then format and restart?
Or should I go back to stock MIUI firmware and then flash Pixel Plus UI?
And if this rom is based on OSS vendor, from which version of Pixel Plus UI rom is OSS based rom?

Someone who has the knowledge please answer these questions...

Best ROM, hands down!

Best battery backup, much less heating than other ROMs
Would've loved the option to switch off Sim cards (useful feature on dual SIM devices)

Hi, the battery life is to low, 15 min watching a video is like 2-3% battery, is that fine? and only use 60Hz and max 90Hz
the battery icon wont show up in the bar
and i can´t hide the notch, I can't find the option, not even in developer options

The rom is awesome, and fast very fast, love it. my rom version is 3.8 and How can I update without having to do a clean installation?
or is it safe to upgrade from "Sistem update available" option?

at least for me, I have not problem with the phone charge. with the PC tells me slow charge, but from a "normal" charger, tells me fast charge

Can i change the position of the 3 buttons? (home, back and menu)
i like the BACK button in the left side

I'm on Arrow OS now. How do I install Pixel Plus UI.
1. Should I have revert back to stock MIUI and then flash Pixel Plus UI?

2. Or should I download the firmware only file form this link https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/vayu/
(The size of firmware only file is around 102 MB)
And flash the firmware file then flash Pixel Plus UI rom?

3. Is Pixel plus rom based on OSS vendor?

Please answer these questions if anybody knows. TIA

1. No You don't have to go back to miui if you're using latest Arrow build based on OSS. Because ppui went OSS on build 3.8. I guess that answers your 3rd question too.

2. Yes check what firmware is required by ppui. The latest ones always work. Usually it will say "12.5.0 or higher" or something like that. And yes the size is around 100 Megabytes. V12.5.4.0.RJUMIXM this will work

Thank you, brother, for your valuable response
I think the main post of this thread should be updated with this information that this rom supports OSS Vendor from 3.8

Another question though. I faced random restarts on 3.8 build. And that's the reason I switched to Arrow OS. I installed GAPPS version.
Did you guys face any activity like this?

Just found out that Pixel Plus UI v3.10 is available on the official PPUI website, but the link is not yet updated on sourceforge.
The PPUI website doesn't have the MD5 CheckSUM, so i can't check the integrity the the file I downloaded.
Anybody downloaded the V3.10?
If yes, would u please post a reply with MD5 CheckSUM?
TIA

I installed the latest version and found that minimum and maximum refresh rate options are 60, 90 and 120Hz. Previously there were also 30, 48hz options.

With every update some useful features are being dropped. Why man?
But this time I'm really disappointed about the drop of the refresh rate options...

NOTE: It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.

    CLEAN FLASH :

    - Download the latest build
    - Reboot to recovery.
    - Take a backup.
    - Flash recommended firmware
    - Flash the latest build
    - Format Data
    - Flash DFE [If you want to decrypt else u can skip]
    - Reboot :p

    DIRTY FLASH :
    - Download the latest build
    - Reboot to recovery
    - Flash recommended firmware
    - Wipe Dalvik and Cache
    - Flash the latest build
    - Flash DFE [If you want to decrypt else u can skip]
    - Reboot :p

    What works?

Wifi | RIL | Mobile data | GPS | Camera
    Flashlight | Camcorder | Bluetooth | Fingerprint reader | Lights | Sound | vibration
    Almost everything

    What doesn't work?

    Nothing yet
    You tell me! :p

I just realized that when turning on the battery saver option to on, then among other restrictions, the dark theme is applied mandatory. This may be a noob question, but I was under the impression that the dark theme saves battery only on amoled displays. So, if this is correct, and since the poco x3 pro has an ips display, there is probably no battery saving by applying the dark theme.
Can some more experienced and knowledgeable members comment if the above is valid statement?

Also is there a way to separate battery saver from the dark theme (or maybe the developer can do something about it) as quite a few people with vision problems do not like the dark mode but still need to use battery saver.
Your statement is absolutely right brother.
But the feature is backed into the rom. Currently based on what I know, we can't use light theme while using battery saver. Developers might be able to solve the problem. So, it's upto our developer now.
