This is a beta ROM leak from miui.com , it comes with the nasty emmc bug , that can be easily neutralized flashing the HydraCore Kernel [ thanks to @g.lewarne ]

I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKS , SO YOU ARE DOING THIS ON YOUR OWN

I WONT BE SUPPORTING THIS ROM, BUT IF I GET A NEWER BUILD I WILL UPDATE

DO NOT WIPE DATA , USING THE KERNEL THAT COMES WITH THE ROM

INSTALLATION STEPS

1. Download the above files into your /sdcard

2. Enter Recovery CWM

3. Flash Latest HydraCore Kernel [ thanks to @g.lewarne ]

4. Reboot Recovery

5. Wipe all [ yes all !! ]

6. Flash ROM + Flash Latest HydraCore Kernel , yes AGAIN ! [ THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP to have a SAFE KERNEL ]

7. Reboot System

when 1st boot , goto to permission manager and enable it !, or else you will have some troubles with root
Enjoy!

Multilanguage , thanks to @sbasil

Code:
[B]Here's a small language update for the ROM [/B](small...took 7 hours for me to do this stuff haha)

It contains English, Chinese, Polish, Dutch, Italian, Korean, Spanish, Danish, Russian, Arabic,
Ukrainian, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Slovak, Czech, Greek and Turkish.

The lockscreen is also updated so there should not be any Chinese symbols on it.

(language files are taken taken from S3's official 2.9.7 apks and then implemented into GNote's apks")

I'm sure there English still haunts in some applications even if the UI language was something else
(I could not get framework-miui-res.apk to work. It decompiled OK and even recompiled OK, but the phone
just stuck at bootscreen after modifying it. Don't know why,
maybe someone more skilled could take a look and try to implement the language files into it. All other apks seemed
to work ok after adding language files to them.

I didn't have time to test this thoroughly, but please feel free to do so and report all possible errors.

If you're already on 2.9.7, I'm pretty sure that this one will install on top of it without any wiping. Just install
it in CWM and that's it (in theory anyway...I had to do several clean installs while I was testing it, so can't be 100% sure)

Oh, and it's also zipaligned, don't know if it makes any difference but at least it sounds good. :p

ps. And as you know, miuandroid.com still hasn't published an official version of MIUI for GNote, so this is still beta and should be treated as such!

it looks fast and not very very smooth but it's ok! The screen lock looks a bit lagger. Tomorrow I'll test the drain battery.

Current version is 2.9.7 and together with Hydracore 4.0 is stable and quite smooth. This MIUI has been my stock for over a month now.
Updates can be found OTA.
Cheers!

So, to ask a noob question, can I flash this over my existing stock/rooted ics rom?
you need only a safe kernel . Example you can flash hydracore via odin on your phone start cwm flash miui>.gapps>.than hydracore kernel>.wipe data factory reset >wipe dalvik cache reboot and wait voila miui;))

Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app

I use Abyss to flash any ICS based ROMs. Also specific to this MIUI leak, the original forum recommends that line 6 of the updater-script be deleted, since it invokes the EMCC format command. (format("ext4", "EMMC", "/dev/block/mmcblk0p9", "0");
)

thanks man this is great

how is the performance on this one? usually MIUI ROMs are quite heavy on RAM usage
also does it support multi languages or only Chinese?
