I installed this ROM and am really loving it... Except, I am unable to root it. I followed the regular extract boot.img from payload.bin using payload_dumper and patch it with magisk.
Then i do `fastboot flash boot boot.img` and it enters an infinite bootloop forcing me to re-flash the entire ROM :( Any idea what I am missing?

Use fastboot boot magisk_patched. When it boots go into magisk app and do direct install. Reboot

Are we getting decamber security patches soon? This is by far my favorite rom, but weary to go back to it for now…

Thinking of flashing again, but a little bit worried due to the lack of updates,
is it still being maintained?

Edit: read the telegram chat and I see it's not abandonment so that's great 😃

You use the boot img from whatever build your on,if your gonna flash it. Patch in the magisk app.And you can always use any oos A11 boot.img and fastboot boot magisk_patched.img. This allows su access on boot. Then go into the magisk app and install root permanently. This process backs up stock boot img for next time as well. Many ways
Every time I try to root with magisk boot for a11 my touch screen stops working

Just downloaded from this thread, and the Build.zip link apparently links to the 8T build. ADB sideload tells me the package is for product OnePlus8T but expected OnePlus9 (to state the obvious, I have OP9.)

Edit: The filename even has "kebab" in it, not lemonade
Second edit: I think its my fault, i just clicked the big green download button, which gives you whichever build was last touched, apparently. I navigated through the folders and got the lemonade version.

Oh hell yeah, thank you for bringing this rom to op9. It feels like development on this device is starting, which is exciting, can't wait for oos cam port

OOS camera port is wip. More to come in the next few days including Aug sec patches, fixed kcal support, accurate slider toast notification dimensions/gravity, and more.

    Lots planned for 8/9 series
