That would negate the need for twrp.
I thought basically the same...That would negate the need for twrp.
Problem is encryption.
Only way would be to factory wipe, then somehow push the ROM to /temp then flash.
Not sure if twrp would completely wipe or not. Los recovery might work. But the initial wipe kills anything you downloaded.
Perhaps using usb-otg then copy to /temp ?
I get what you mean but not sure mate.
You can update locally when there's an update..
Can you show me how to create the button to clear all recent apps in launchair? I downloaded launchair but can not find the place of that buttonMost of this is answered but here goes.
1. Believe this is down to the launcher you use, I use lawn chair.
2. No idea I always have internet
3. Again I use lawn chair. Just press and hold then home settings and delete it from there.
4. This has been answered many times, go to settings in camera and turn off ultra wide correction
5. Clear data from Google play and services then sign back in. No idea what dict box is
I'll leave the rest to someone else.
Change boot image dude.
At this point I've done about 3 dirty updates via system update. So I'd be heading for a clean install anyway. That would be great, thank you
Do you plan to switch to OOS? Or do you want to have the newest underlaying OOS before flashing Evo-X?
I wonder if we still need a underlaying OOS firmware or if we can wipe all partitions (including super/system) before flashing Evo-X
Should work mate. It's still quite new so confirm first
Gonna try and flash evo with itHere's the thread.
Team Win Recovery Project 3.x, or twrp3 for...forum.xda-developers.com
I imagine a new thread will be created at some point.
James cable listed the new twrp a few pages from the back.
You can boot it or flash to recovery.
fastboot flash recovery nameoftwrp
Check the twrp thread mate, it can now decrypts the 8 and 8 pro.
