I'm using this rom for a couple of days now. Excellent rom, butter smooth and battery friendly. Idle drain around 0.7% per hour. I noticed a couple of things:

- Back gestures doesn't seem to work
- OOS camera wide angle lens doesn't work
- The AOD scheduler does not work well. The scheduler doesn't work all the time and the 'sunrise till sunset' option doesn't work at all

All other things work like a charm! Thanks for the work!

Positive :

1- no craches
2- smooth
3- no overheating compared to OOS 11
4- ram management is Great
5- fps like LTPO screens is awsome. 1hz 120hz
6- message enhancer?
7- themes works good
8- sound quality is excellent
9- battery life is good

Negatives (my opinion)

1- flash brightness changing.. hurts the eyes and shook me Everytime.
2- resulotion changing (FHD and QHD) sometimes i need the full power saving. ( Ik there is scripts to change it. But for long outside roads its quite handy)
---camera related----
3- camera slow booting up. And UW lens doesn't work. Just nothing happened when pressing the button.
4 nightsight results in a fully pinky picture
5 - portrait mode doesn't work. Both rear and front
6- 48mp crashes.
----camera----
7- FOD keeps rereading (or just the animation because no vibration or message shows up) then it works after 2 sec of pressing. But most of the times it fails.
8- the screen is too dark. With night light is barely readable 50~% brightness (display mode is on auto)
9- pressing power button on off: presence of stutters when screen goes off
10- sliding up to enter password. A delay before the numbers show up
11-.screen record .?
12- the night light is intensive. Specially at very low light. U could see a big pinkish tint and hurts the eye when looking at the screen.
(Maybe other things i forgot about)

Unfortunately, i really loved that rom. But the screen related issues made me roll back to OOS.

1. Make sure navbar toggle is turned ON (if you wish to hide the gesture bar, do so by making length 0 in the gesture bar settings. The purpose of the navbar toggle is to use third party navigation implementations.)
2. Turn off wide angle lens correction in camera settings.

10- The delay is for the working of face unlock
11- Screen record is present as a quick settings tile

- For night light intensity, why not just reduce the intensity in settings? I do not see any pink tint when night light intensity is at a low intensity.
- For UW lens - disable ultrawide lens correction in camera settings.

7- for the FOD, try turning on the option to disable night light when FOD is showing. Additionally, if you face issues with it, turn off FOD animations.

And as for resolution changing, can you please share the scripts you're talking about? They might be useful for a system side implementation.

Thanks a lot, appreciate this comment.

Both things work like a charm indeed, makes the rom even better. I only have that thing about AOD planning, is not a big issue, for now i simply use the quick settings toggle, but i really like the sunrise - sunset option. Any idea about that?

10- yes, disabling face unlock fixed the pin code numbers showing speed, fixed FOD scanner, fixed stuttering when turning off the screen.
11- my bad, didn't see it.

night light intensity is too high compared to other roms, I throw it back to the minimum. I will see later about the pink tint and report back with a picture if I could. but the readability is horrible, don't know about other users

for the screen resolution I use ADB commands :

wm size "to check native and override resolution"
wm size reset
wm density "to check DPI density"
wm density reset

adb shell wm size 1080x2376
adb shell wm dpi 411
reboot

this resultion and DPI causes the FOD to goes down. (maybe some other values might work)
I don't use this commands on my OP 8, it was back before to my Pixel 3

Hey,

I turned on scheduled AOD (sunset - sunrise) to check whether it was broken, and it wasn't. AOD turned on for me at around night time. Maybe make sure you have location turned on.

I've attached a few images of my phone below (dark room, low brightness, night light and dc dimming turned on). I don't see any tint other than the usual 8 Pro's green tint. And speaking about dc dimming, I recommend you turn it on if you have eye strain in lower light conditions.

I tried again yesterday and i'm sure to have location on. At midnight the phone's AOD was still on, so either i'm doing something wrong or some settings are wrong.

Never mind, i will use the toggle for now.

It's supposed to be on at night, isn't it? The option is called sunset --> sunrise not sunrise --> sunset. If you want sunrise to sunset, you can set your own custom time from morning to night.

This is the second time today i feel ashamed and too dumb for this world. In my mind it was reversed, so on in daytime and off in the night...

I'm sorry!
