Thanks for the swift response. My apologies for not seeing those options. While under "system navigation" iirc I hadn't seen anything pertaining to changing the back swipe action from the sides to bottom edges. I will flash again to a bootable state to mess around.

In stock navbar settings/edge long swipe action, you can assign 17 functions to that.
P.S. And by the way, the Rom Control user interface was originally done in DirtyUnicorn rom, not Crdroid...
I found the option for left volume bar. Though, for edge long swipe options I'm not seeing any for a "Back" function. I'm also not quite understanding the actions used for the choices such as "edge long swipe action" - I set it to launch camera to test functionality and I'm swiping around places but I can't it to happen.. Just the bottom swipe up is home and sides are what function as back.

I have tried many methods to try and fix "custom rom detected" in Momo using Magisk and none of them have really worked for me, I could appreciate the help as I really like the look of this ROM and I'm looking forward to using Google Pay and banking apps on it, thanks!

First of all, to use gestures in navigation, you MUST switch to system gesture navigation
( Stock navbar settings/System navigation), as opposed to 2 or 3 button navbar. Once switched, back edge gesture becomes available automatically.
Edge long gesture means just that: you have to hold the edge and then swipe. Of course, as with the back edge, you need to be in gesture system navigation.
Moreover, when in System gesture navigation, you will have additional options (click little settings icon) to adjust sensitivity, length, as well as to toggle animation and haptic feedback.

I downgraded from OOS 11 to OOS 10 and then installed the Jaguar v16 and TWRP 3.5.2 zip using steps in OP, but got to QCom Crash dump after reboot. please suggest.

No. If you just flashed vendor, it's not enough. You must have bootloader from OOS 10, which means flashing the full OOS 10, then TWRP installer, then rebooting into TWRP and flashing OOS 10 and TWRP installer again.
Shall I ask? Is bootloader has to unlock from OOS 10? And flash Android 10 both slots? And flash jaguar OS? And Gapps?
To flash a custom rom, you must unlock bootloader. Also, you need TWRP to flash to both slots, as there is no way to flash the rom with stock recovery. You can't install TWRP without unlocking bootloader.
So, you need to unlock bootloader, then boot into TWRP from fastboot using TWRP.img, not installer. Once you booted TWRP, immediately flash OOS 10 and TWRP installer. Then reboot into TWRP and flash OOS 10 and TWRP installer again.
After that flash Jaguar + TWRP installer, then, if you want Gapps, reboot into TWRP again and flash Gapps.
got it. also, after booting in twrp 3.5.2, do i have to install same twrp or will 3.6.0 work?
It booted to os after couple of tries. I also flashed nikgapps 11 basic but all Google apps kept crashing. So I tried to reflash and got crash dump. So, I am back to OOS for now. Will try again in weekend.
Anu gapps recommendation please?
I've noticed that I've had a couple of restarts. Only realised when I've picked up the phone to use and been forced to use pin login, so it's no huge issue but....just in case I screwed the initial set up, may do a clean flash, but do I need to use msm to go back to stock and start again?

Lineage builds are user-debug, which is a build version with weakened security designed for developers to trace problems. Google specifically states user-debug not to be used in production builds. Kind of all you need to know about Lineage's Android

Thanks for the video - It was not that it always soft-reboots when switching, maybe in 3 of 10 tries. However, deactivating captive portal detection seems to solve the issue for me.
Also, I noticed that your Wi-Fi connects nearly instant while on my end, it took about 20 seconds. After digging through the settings, I found that the option for random mac addresses was turned on. I switched it off for my home WI-FI, which now leads to an instant connection as well.
Hopefully the random soft-reboots are finally gone now. Many thanks for your help and awesome ROM.2
You might want to install (dirty flashing) vanilla version and try other Gapps.Got it! I think I won't use Panic.
Don't get me wrong, I like the behavior and wouldn't turn it off. I just found it while testing and wanted to report back.
By the way, I also get random soft-reboots. Sometimes while chatting in WhatsApp, watching YouTube and sometimes while the phone is not even in use and lies around. I have no clue what triggers it, maybe some Jaguar settings, maybe Magisk or GApps. It's not too annoying, though worth noticing.

Jaguar rom is focused on hardening of AndroidOS and kernel. As such, the rom has hardened bionic, art, framework and tightened security. Kernel has security features ported from linux kernel 4.14.
The rom could be used on locked bootloader (donate feature) with no warning screen whatsoever, and with or without Magisk (your choice). It boots like OOS: Android logo and Boot animation. Plus, you get back DRM L1 driver.
You get your DRM L1 certificate back and most of your banking apps will work regardless of Magisk tricks
Otherwise, and in addition to hardening, the rom has all standard+ features that come with custom roms:
