I did a clean install with opengapps pico, then relocked Bootloader:
- fastboot oem lock
- deactivate oem unlocking in dev. settings
- factory reset in recovery

reboot now shows custom rom information instead of bootlocker warning

- initial setup (google account)
- Magisk v23 from OP
> Safeteynet fails
>CTS failes

unfortunately, google pay and other apps still recognize this phone as rooted and won't work.
not sure, what i am doing wrong here...

I have the same problem with locked bootloader and this rom. Already tried Universal safetynet fix and magisk props module

Basic integrity it is kernel side issue i gues you can use xposed to ovveride it but i gues the developer of this must check what wrong

Ok, guys. Every Safetynet commit in frameworks and kernel has been incorporated into the rom from the outset. Safetynet is an evolving issue, and detection becomes more advanced by the hour, including the latest Google commit that came with r49: HERE

The fact that Universal Safetynet plus Magisk hide don't help is the proof of what I said, because those override rom's prompts and should work regardless of anti-Safetynet commits.

To tell you frankly, I don't give a flying F about Safetynet. My phone has no Google apps and will never have it. I don't use banking apps and/or Googlepay, although, I did test-install an app from my bank (Santander) and while there was a warning 'your phone is rooted', there was also an option to hide this warning, after which I was able to login into my account and fully use it including depositing a check.

I have a question and I can no longer access it from the computer since the ROM was installed. It cannot be changed in the Android USB settings either. Is it wanted like that?

Do you mean using the canary version of magisk instead of the beta channel?

I have tested Oneplus camera extensively for about 5 days and found no benefits in having it vs Open Camera. The only feature that OP camera has is 48M, but it never worked: the app would simply F/C. All others - Open Camera has it, including PRO, Portrait, HDR, Panorama etc. So, considering this and the fact that OP camera is closed source; it requires several closed source additions; and it takes a lot of space on disk and in memory, I have decided not to use it.

You could still find a zip file on XDA flashable in recovery that would install OP with all required binaries, if you want it.

Thanks for the testing, i will try the gcam mod. just to be curious and it turns out unlocking bootloader causes inconsistency of FOD. Does locking bootloader with jaguar rom help with this?

FOD has been royally screwed by whomever first introduced FOD color options, by putting non-transparent icons between the finger and sensor. So, naturally, the reader can barely read the fingerprint. Thiis has been fixed and will be available in the next release.

Having said that and based on my experience, fingerprint false reading is virtually non-existent on locked bootloader.

Great rom fast and snappy just one issue I'm having how do I turn night mode off I click it screen flashes but no settings I can see in the background while it flashes jaguar settings but don't take me anywhere thanks in advance

Unfortunately, just like that I can't use this ROM. Same as other people are mentioning above. Can't past safety net. It's a bummer too because this is by far my favorite ROM.

I tried many different attempts to getting it to pass, I can get passed basic integrity but I can't get CTS profile to pass for some reason.

I just came from both the latest CR Droid and latest LOS yesterday (was switching ROMs and saw Jag was available this morning) and I can pass safety net in both those roms.

Hopefully Jaguar will get passed safety net at some point.

One thing to note, not sure if it's related, but I noticed when I do stuff in Magisk, it mentions slot_b while installing zips. With LOS, it does it all in slot_a. I still don't fully understand how the slots play with each other, but on another rom I was having issues flashing because it was in the wrong slot. Issuing a fastboot set_active a solved my issues on that ROM. Curious if you can force flash on a specific slot with Magisk, I couldn't find anything about it

You don't need to flash Magisk on Jaguar: it is prebuilt. Just install Magisk manager from this thread.
