Before i attempt to try this rom. Can you tell me is this the same as any other rom i tried? Because only the oos roms felt smooth and i think i tried every rom except yours.
Is there something i forgot or made wrong?

Not sure what you're really looking to hear about this as it's pretty subjective trying to ask "same as any other rom" and "tried every rom except yours". If you're getting bad performance on other linageos roms for OP8P, I'd suggest looking into the issue (logcat and check for errors) and ensuring you're doing a 1:1 comparison.
As for this rom and others, atleast in terms of A11, every rom except OOS has been pretty smooth in my experience. This one, even with some cosmetic issues that are reported, is no different in that assessment. The rom has consistently been pretty performant.
When tackling smoothness, try to define what that means to you. Animations, transitions between apps, gameplay, etc. Then start ruling out possibilities:
- are you getting errors in logcat when performance tanks, but not in oos or another rom
- did you install anything that's different: OOS being stock, no root, etc vs custom with unlocked bootloader, add-ons, etc. Try to paint the same picture in your comparisons.
After that, either invest into the rom by reporting and sticking through it, or move on to another (but again, keep that definition and checks). If the problem is addon based, then you may be missing out on some great roms because you're polluting the water. If it's lineageos related, you should easily be able to find a common variable and find like minded people.
Such as the "missing" things in this rom, there's a common thread and experience, so easy to rule out lineage and focus just on the rom experience. However the metric of "smooth" will wildly bounce around, but almost all lineageos roms on our device has been pretty stellar, this one included. The roms that aren't are pretty easy to spot and normally because a developer has halted work or focusing on a larger release (like a12 or too many other devices).
