I am using already the ROM since beginning of the year and it's great!
I have the "Full" version, so GApps was already included.

On another device I used MicroG Revived (Magisk Module) a couple of days. I got it to work with a lot of workaround. Here the whole story:

I the end didnt linke the solution.

Soon I will setup a OP 8 device. Most probably I will use the vanilla version and use systemless GApps as Magisk module. For Android 11 there should be three alternatives, see here:

ok thank you for sharing your experience with me. If it was too difficult for me, I might have decided not to use microg revived but my installation went very smoothly and so far it runs well too. Also, it would be nice for me if google play purchases would work (I havent tried) but even if they dont I'm ok with that. I use Aurora store. which has not been updated in a while but I normally do not install paid google apps and rarely need in app purchases.
I have been using microg for many years now. I always try to expel or exile any and everything google from my device and yes i understand android IS a google product. lol

ok so i installed microg revived. everything seems to be set up correctly. Although I thought it had Fdroid app but this version does not include fdroid. How can I access the internal storage? I connected my op8t to my pc to move an apk to internal storage but it does not allow access

Optimum updates this ROM more regularly than just about any other ROM in existence. Not only that but Optimum made a huge discovery. Hardly no other kernels are being updated these days. But he updates this kernel often

Hi, sometimes a fod animation appear on screen, it dissapear after enter switch apps menu. Any way to get rid of it for good?

Just update the app. 25.2 is already in kernel.

In my experience, people who publicly claim 'I will donate' are usually the ones who never do that. But, as I mentioned in our PMs, you know what to do.

In the Magisk Manager you can see which Magisk Manager App is installed and which Magisk version.
And the pop up tells you as well what shall be updated, Magisk or the App.

You must be able to distinguish what the difference is. If not

So the Manager App is up-to-date. Magisk is not.

The reason it would show Magisk 23 is that you have flashed either Magisk23 on top of the rom or a very old Jaguar release. Magisk 25.2 is prebuilt for 8 series and has been in Jaguar for months.

OK thank you Optimum. I will take a closer look at it this weekend. Even if I installed an older version of Jaguar, it's still a great ROM and I like it

Hi. I found a bug in this rom. Same as stock rom, default multiple user is set default to only 4-5 user at the same time. If we want to change the limit, we need to add this script to build.prop

fw.max_users=15

I tried this on stock android 11 by adding the command at the last row of the build.prop . It works.
I tried on jaguar rom, it got stuck on unlock bootloader notice .

Any idea how to fix this?
