Tried this again today, spent a bit more time making sure i was entirely cleanly wiped, as i was last time...

Nope, will still not let me flash full NikGapps....same nonsense confirms it has enough space, but fails to install them

Back to Proton again

You don't flash Full Gapps! Use Pico package. Alternatively use version with Gapps included with this ROM!

Says who?

Full Nik Gapps works on literally EVERY other ROM in this section, the Nik Gapps install script even reports it has enough room (please check my previous posts with proof before flaming me?) its just the ROM has issues...and im reporting them

Im not about to change my methodology of many years for one ROM, which its clear it has the issue.

Also, as i have said for years, across 3 devices now: im not wasting my data downloading ROM's with G-Apps for several reasons:

1) And most importantly, devs never ever use recent G-Apps, theyre always weeks, sometimes months out of date. Why, when data is expensive here, would i download a ROM nearing 1Gb, only to find out i have to update all the G-Apps, meaning another 300Mb. Think about the number of ROMS i test...it makes more sense especially given this that i download Nik-Gapps full once a month, and then reuse it across ROMs without G-Apps, which are smaller than 1Gb.

2) Im super tired of repeating the obvious....G-Apps should be left to the user, period.

    AICP
    Android Ice Cold Project

AICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!

Until Android Lollipop, the ROM has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and then changed to be based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
We changed again for Android Q-R with a base of AOSP repositories and some additions from LineageOS for device specific repositories.

If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out, if it concerns our code base. This ROM isn't LineageOS supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!

@Blackjubel, currently installed and testing AICP. There are no more apn problems. Thank you are for the wonderful ROM.

Any chance Android Auto now works with this ROM, and have the APN settings been fixed?

Also, is SafetyNet passing, whether out of the box or with the fix-modules?

Looking forward to this continued development - thank you!
