[ROM][11][AOSP] PixelExperience for OnePlus Nord N10 5G [UNOFFICIAL][BILLIE]

Trying to install this but when I get to adb sideload rom.zip (I did rename it after several failed attempts with it's original name). I keep getting

E:\Profile\Desktop>adb sideload rom.zip
loading: 'rom.zip'
* cannot read 'rom.zip' *

Any suggestions?

Try rom.zip.zip when entering in command prompt.

Nope. Didn't work. Same result * cannot read 'rom.zip.zip' * I'm going to let this go. I got my phone to boot again with the msm tool. I used to dev way back in the day, but android has evolved a lot since then and I can't keep bricking phones while trying to learn and figure out new things. It's gotten kind of expensive. Thank you for your response and help though.... (As he goes back to brick his phone again...)

It did the same for me originally, for some reason you start in partition b, so in order to make it work you have to switch from partion b to a. Hope that helps!

Soo id have to go back to the stock rom, update it to Android 11 then flash this version since the previous version of this rom was built around oxygenos 10? Also can these steps be skipped by flashing the Kernel? (if so how?) Asking for my sake or whoever else may come across this issue thanks in advance!

I'll try and test this myself soon, I haven't been driving much lately so it's a tough thing to test
Make sure you try re-pairing your phone with the vehicle. and by that I mean, entirely delete it from your vehicle as well as delete the pairing in the phone itself. set it up as if it's a new device, and see if that makes a difference

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Download the ROM and Recovery image
2. Boot into bootloader/fastboot mode
* adb reboot bootloader
3. Flash the Recovery image
* fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
4. Boot into Recovery
* fastboot reboot-recovery
5. Perform a Factory Reset/Wipe in Recovery
6. Go to Apply Update and choose Apply from ADB
7. Sideload the ROM
* adb sideload rom.zip
Reboot and voila!

If you're using an American model, yep.
You've gotta push each file from the correct boot mode.

Some files have to be pushed through fastboot. Some have to be pushed through fastbootd.

Hi excellent ROM, I've been using it for a month. One thing, can you lower the minimum screen brightness? I've been trying to do it via root but, but no success so far. IDK whether it's even possible for you to lower it.

Works great, only issue I've noticed is the lock screen says "22 hr until full" when the phone is clearly charging much faster.

It goes without saying that you have to unlock your bootloader, which in most manufacturers voids the warranty. If you're willing to go that far, you should at least know what you're doing.
