I themed them differently, as the name suggests. They are based on the official twrp trees, so they should be pretty stable...
Depends on personal preference. I am fine using the included snap cam, others might prefer gcam, gcam go, ... so it is up to you.
The included cam did perform a bit poor in my eyes. Gcam didnt work for me but I thought that it was a hardware incompatibility maybe.

Since you're building like crazy, if you need some inspiration you can always build OrangeFox, Pitch Black, RedWolf, or Sky Hawk recoveries...
Do you mean 360° sphere photos? Well I cant recommend using gcam 8.2, but 7.4 or so should work just fine.
I dont own any moto mods, so I cant test. The trees I used are from erfan and he doesnt actively support them, so I dont know whether they work...

That is what I daily drive too rn, they rebased due to some conflict within the stellar founders, but I will build the successor some time soon.
Idk how to upstream device sources, I used erfans sources to bringup my roms, so no A12 from my side...
