Sooo... I tried installing this ROM, I formatted data as indicated in the instructions, and I am using the recommended Firmware, but after installation the phone just boots into recovery... any help?

Well, I fixed it... the instructions in the OP are wrong! You have to "format data" AFTER flashing the rom. If you do it before, it fails to boot.

for any ROM on k20 it is the same , you will have to format the data partition or factory reset the data partition for avoiding encryption issues , if your phone is decrypted by default via DM verity option then this step can be avoided orelse 1000℅ it will never boot into the rom

Well intalled yesterday and all working fine.
Correct method:
TWRP 3.4.0.0
Format data (yes)
Reboot Recovery
Flash firmware V12.0.5.0.QFJMIXM
Flash ROM
Flash Gapps
Reboot System
Complete first setup
Reboot to TWRP
Flash MagiskR
Reboot System

This method worked for me at the first attempt and so far everything works properly.
I hope it helps those who are a little messed up .

Nice work.
1) OpenGapps has some problems to sign in chrome, maps and drive maybe u can make it possible to work with nikGapps.
2) GDrive and maps lastest versions give a crash error.
3) In some cases It's impossible to disable wake up screen on new notification when I disabled this option.
4) Always on screen not checking the envoriment light to calibrate its own brightness to a reasonable level.
5) Front camera pops up automaticly in pocket when Have a phone call situation. phone wakes up and pop up the front camera. It s critical one. Because camera cannot pop up in pocket and may damage the motor.

These are my experience maybe u can fix these problems I don't know if U can thanks

Having issues of Pt.1 also with nikGapps:

-chrome can't login and try to get a new account even if one is already registered
-maps crashes as soon as it open.

Any idea? I'm operating with magisk 21.1 with microG.. dunno if these apps makes any conflict

You need to provide access chrome to contacts

They are not working. I know these problems because of that I'm using arrowos 10. Gapps is still in beta status and these are normal for now , it's not about the rom , about the gapps. Wait until they release a stable release

Updated nikGapps seems to solve all the problem. Downloaded from official site the 20201214 and everything is fine
