The latest update still has the RTT issue with Verizon. Will this ever be fixed? The old unofficial PE didn't have this issue.

I usually boot to TWRP from fastboot directly using the latest image as I don't have it permanently installed. Then I wipe system and cache, install the rom and reboot to bootloader. Then I boot into the same recovery again via fastboot, check that the slot has switched (A<>B) and flash the rom again. Then I boot to system and that's it.

I have some questions. First of all, how do i root on pixel experience and how does the ota update work? do i have to flash the update via recovery or is it automatic? and if i update the rom does root stay or do i have to root again?

I don't use Google authenticator but I can confirm on Microsoft authenticator it work fine.

In short, you'll want to reboot into your Pixel Experience recovery and use the ADB sideload feature in the same way you did to install Pixel Experience, only this time with the latest OTA zip you can grab from the official downloads (or with the 'export to internal storage' function of the updater + transferring the zip to your PC). Don't erase any of your data - you don't have to do so when updating between versions of a ROM.
Edit: You'll also have to re-flash Magisk if you had that installed before the update.

Also, remember that you can always boot into TWRP by running this from your computer while the phone is in bootloader and connected:

fastboot boot <twrp-image-file>

It won't flash the recovery, it just boots from it and can be redone as often as you like. For instance when rebooting from TWRP just boot into bootloader and run the command again, that brings you right back into TWRP.

how to update via twrp

step 1
reboot to recovery
flash with the lastest pixelexperiencerom zip file
flash the lastest twrp (twrp-installer-3.5.2_9-0-fajita.zip)
reboot

step 2
for root : flash lastest magisk zip (v23)
reboot

problem 1
if you dont have twrp recovery
fastboot flash boot <recovery_filename>.img (twrp-3.5.2_9-0-fajita.img)
and go to step 1

problem 2
if you got a msg with qualcomm crash dump mode, you just flash an older version of twrp or magisk go to step 1

Thank you for this! The only issue I have right now is the Google Call Screening isn't working. The other person on the other line can't hear anything when I hit screen call. Besides that, everything seems to work really well.

Is very strange, for me people complain that cannot ear me when using Bluetooth. But if I do a call using what's up or Facebook there is no problem.
