Install stock andoid 11 miui, then flash twrp, you can find it here on XDA, then format data, wipe cache,dalvik, internal storage etc, then flash latest version of PE

Try changing region to India before unlocking and flashing the rom. Maybe this way you'll get the recent updates. IMO it's not worth it and stock with a few tweaks is adequate.

Do i first flash TWRP using fastboot ?
I suppose when i flash miui 12.0.1 (the first android 11 version avaiable) that the TWRP recovery will be overwritten again ?

I was about to do it this way : Is this OK ?

I did it !

Installed the pixel experience plus version , without much trouble.

I first had an error on sideload ,but i was using an old version of adb
Then i was confused with the install guide ...
"On the device, select “Apply Update”, then “Apply from ADB” to begin sideload."
I had to figure out that this was meant for the pixel experience recovery , but i did install the TWRP recovery , and then it is "Advanced > ADB sideload"

After that everything was installing fine , with the usual errors mentioned in the guide .

do I need to operate cmd under admin rights? for some reason if I do that I cannot drop the file in...
and opening cmd without admin rights, I got this following issue:

Navigate to the folder where you downloaded the rom, then hold shift and right click in the folder, select execute command prompt window here. After you do that type adb sideload filename.zip
Also, try renaming file to something simpler like pixel.zip

I just updated my phone xiaomi redmi note 9 pro to the latest build last week but the stock fm radio app is gone. Is there any way I can get it back installed? thank you sir wubaolong! I finally made the update and it has now the stock fm radio app. however, it did not work. the fm radio app says I need to turn off and on to make it work but the off/on button does not do anything and the error is still showing.

I will instead install the stable android 12 next time (hopefully there is a stock fm radio app in the stable android 12).

FM Radio stock app is a small but powerful tool useful in zombie apocalypse or armagedon or when hit by super typhoon or calamities and when power grid is shutdown, no internet, no telco communications, no power no signal - the fm radio app can still tuned in to local stations for news as long as you have battery in your mobile phone.
