Lol jesus christ m8 calm down, I already saw some of your rants on other rom dead threads without giving any useful info to the (dead) developers.

First of all I ask you to test the rom well once and then write all the bugs only in 1 post.
Regarding the first issue I actually don't know what do you mean, maybe it's a LineageOS-related issue?

About the second issue I already explained why the navigation bar is here in a previous post (spoiler: it's because I want it).

About the third issue I sincerely don't know how to solve it, if you want you can follow the bug report guide on the first post and maybe I can find a way to fix it. Thanks.
ok but can you pls tell me how can i disable navbar or hw keys i dont want to use both of these but only one and sorry for too much disturbe :censored:

No problem, but please think twice before sending a bug report in the future.
I know there is the qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 trick for the build.prop config file. There are a lot of tutorials online that explain how to do this.

Do both devices know of each other's existence?
As in, are both devices connected before so that they might be able to send files?

If so, have either device send a photo or something from one device to the other.
This can usually be accomplished on Android by the 'Share via' Bluetooth option.
Windows 10 has a option towards the bottom of the Bluetooth settings menu to send or receive files.

Hi, unfortunately there isn't much more I can do with a 6 years old device... Playing games on gprime always has been a problem.
I'm sorry 😞

Hi I'm having issues with installing the ROM, the device I'm installing to is a SM-G530T (gprimeltetmo) and when installing it says that the package is for and it lists out compatible devices which the gprimeltetmo is listed. and it says that my device is and it's just blank. My TWRP version is 3.1.1-1 which is the latest version available. I tried installing another recovery (Orange Fox Recovery) but it said it was incompatilbe. But when it said what my device was it said it was a gprimeltetmo, which is correct. I'm not sure what's going on with the flashing process on my device.

Which zip file are you trying to flash?

Try using the gprimelte (NO tmo) rom, I have a T-Mobile branded Grand Prime and the gprimelte zips are the only ones that work.

Build date/Release version you downloaded/installed (the name of the .zip file): lineage-18.1-20210427-UNOFFICIAL-fortuna3gdtv-V4stable.zip

Device variant you are using: fortuna3gdtv
Gapps version (if using): No (tested with it too)

Did you--
wipe: Yes
restore with titanium backup: No
reboot after having the issue: Yes

Are you using--
a task killer: No
a non-stock kernel: No
other modifications: No

Provide any additional information (observations/frequency of problem/last version it worked on/etc) as needed:

The SIM cards 1 and 2 don't work, and I keep having this same problem with any Android 8.0+ custom roms I test on my SM-G530BT.
That doesn't happen with any Android 7.1.2 or below roms. I have tried all Android versions between 8.0 - 11.0, and nothing fixes that bug. I have tried everything, nothing happens.

there are no active developers for SMG531H rom development. Feeling sad! 😢
I feel you, unfortunately the g531 device has never been a widespread variant back then. Even the g530 variant is pretty much dead now. Android 12 is 64 bit only, which can't be built for gprime anymore...
Time to move on I guess! ;)

Hey, why not root? I can root it only with anther ROM?
Lol you can root your Android device anytime. There's a famous piece of code called "Magisk" that can help you doing that. I've simply chosen to do not include root in the build as some people don't want it. :)

Hi, could you try getting a logcat when trying to connect to the wifi network? Thank you
I have sent the logs to you in a private conversation because I don't know whether they contain sensitive information

Hey can you build one for SMG531H version? It is also called grandprimeve3g. I would want to be a tester for the ROM. You're doing a great job and I had a feeling you could help me out !

hope this thread works while building the ROM for SMG531H.
Hi, thank you but I already said many times back in this thread that the SM-G531 (H, F & maybe others) have a different chipset from the devices that I am supporting right now in this thread (which have the msm8916).
I will not put any effort into building a working rom for these devices as I don't own any device with a similar chipset. Sorry.

I'll build for your device when I have time, I'll ask you some info about your device if I will need it. Thank you btw :)
Hey, I don't mean to be a thorn in your side, but I was wondering when/if you need my help with a build for my varient of the Grand Prime, and how long it might take for you to finish said build if you are even going to work on it.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restores the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    ROM project Info:
This lineage-18.1 project comes with a SafetyNet fix that isn't part of the official AOSP code.

This is my little gift for the xda community! This is the work of months trying & building a decent rom for gprime. If you want to help, try things and tell me what doesn't work by filling the bug-report template down there! Thank you :)

++ you can also try my Q release here !++

I don't plan to release often for other models as I don't own a server to build multiple variants but only my PC with limited hdd capacity to compile this rom.

    Supported devices:
If your device/variant IS NOT listed on the FIRST post, then IT IS NOT SUPPORTED.
    Code:
    - gprimeltexx (SM-G530FZ) (since V1beta)
    - fortuna3g (SM-G530H) [XXU] (since V3stable)
    - fortunave3g (SM-G530H) [XCU] (since V3stable)
    - fortunalteub (SM-G530M) (since V3stable)

    Reporting bugs:
    • DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or if you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
    • Fill the following report template:
    Code:
Build date/Release version you downloaded/installed (the name of the .zip file):
    Device variant you are using:
    Gapps version (if using):

    Did you--
    wipe:
    restore with titanium backup:
    reboot after having the issue:

    Are you using--
    a task killer:
    a non-stock kernel:
    other modifications:

Provide any additional information (observations/frequency of problem/last version it worked on/etc) as needed:

@Gabboxl You can fix the overheating issue by introducing Simple Thermal Driver by Sultan XDA. You can see the commits in my Lineage-17.1 Kernel.
