Oh okay. I'll look into building TWRP for your variant in the next weeks and I hope this will solve the problem.
Thanks for the details and sorry for the delay!
Thank you!
Honestly, if I could, I'd give you so much money over this project. Please take as much time as you need and want.
I'll try to respond as quick as I can if you have any questions or concerns about my device.

If this doesn't solve our problem, then I am unsure as to what our problem is, and how to fix it.

Hi, v5stable for gprimeltexx has instability with access to the camera. Is it ROM related or is there a camera firmware update to do? It often happens after using the camera several times that it no longer responds (the camera). a reboot is then necessary to recover the functioning of the camera. thanks

Hi, what camera app have you been using? If you used Snap then try using Google Camera Go which comes preinstalled in the room. It should fix the problems until they fix Snap.

Is there any way to disable on-screen navigation and use physical buttons instead? This ROM worked perfectly for me, but that problem is what made me leave this ROM and use the Q release, (that's working perfectly fine until now).

Thanks for your hard work porting this version!

Try this.
I have no clue if this is correct or not, but it was mentioned earlier in this thread. ↓
No problem, but please think twice before sending a bug report in the future.
I know there is the qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 trick for the build.prop config file. There are a lot of tutorials online that explain how to do this.

I did a clean install using twrp .It worked but after the first reboot, it keeps rebooting into lineage recovery mode every time (even after clicking "reboot system").
Can't flash anything, as it doesn't detect my device in bootloader mode as installing this rom.
I have a backup but no clue how to use it now .
What should I do ?

Build date/Release version you downloaded/installed (the name of the .zip file): lineage-18.1-20210925-UNOFFICIAL-fortuna3g-v5stable
Device variant you are using: SM-G530H/DD
No Gapps
Additional information : It took me a hours to root the phone because the oem unlock was missing (even after using a the date and time method), so I finally used cf-auto-root (even though its deprecated).
I used JOdin3 on Ubuntu 20.04.

Hmm very weird, thanks for reporting. I think installing TWRP again is the only way to solve this problem. It looks like the rom installs its recovery itself for whatever reason... Try using V4 and tell me if you experience the same problems. Thanks.

Noob question, I installed this LineageOS 18.1 using TWRP, now I want to install BITGapps using TWRP but I can't seem to be able to enter into TWRP recovery, using Volume Up + Home + Power enters into Lineage Recovery and BITGapps gave me an error when I tried to install it through that, does lineageOS overrides TWRP recovery with its own? or am I doing the key combination for TWRP recovery wrong?

Is there anyother way to install google apps?

My phone is the fortuna3g (SM-G530H) [XXU]

However the adb sideload seems to work. How to reflash twrp now (I was using twrp-3.5.2_9-0-fortuna3g.img )

It looks like that's the problem. Use V4 for now.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restores the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    ROM project Info:
This lineage-18.1 project comes with a SafetyNet fix that isn't part of the official AOSP code.

This is my little gift for the xda community! This is the work of months trying & building a decent rom for gprime. If you want to help, try things and tell me what doesn't work by filling the bug-report template down there! Thank you :)

++ you can also try my Q release here !++

I don't plan to release often for other models as I don't own a server to build multiple variants but only my PC with limited hdd capacity to compile this rom.

    Supported devices:
If your device/variant IS NOT listed on the FIRST post, then IT IS NOT SUPPORTED.
    Code:

    - fortunave3g (SM-G530H) [XCU] (since V3stable)

    Reporting bugs:
    • DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or if you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
    • Fill the following report template:
    Code:
Build date/Release version you downloaded/installed (the name of the .zip file):
    Device variant you are using:
    Gapps version (if using):

    Did you--
    wipe:
    restore with titanium backup:
    reboot after having the issue:

    Are you using--
    a task killer:
    a non-stock kernel:
    other modifications:

Provide any additional information (observations/frequency of problem/last version it worked on/etc) as needed:

@Gabboxl You can fix the overheating issue by introducing Simple Thermal Driver by Sultan XDA. You can see the commits in my Lineage-17.1 Kernel.

New release coming tomorrow! I've managed to fix the biggest issues, after this one I'm going to build for other variants too! Expect some builds in the next few days 😉
