You are using it on a fortunaltedx, right? Is camera functional? Because I'm using gprimeltexx's libraries for it and I don't know if they are compatible. If they aren't I'll try to use the original ones

no. camera works but cant save any photos. video works too and saves. if you are going to fix in a new build can you make dirty flashable? or is it already. why the hell does this phone have so many versions.

It's already dirt flashable. However clean flashing is the first option to consider when experiencing issues.
I know right? this is so weird! I think this is the only samsung phone with so many variants

I don't really know what's causing the problem, it's weird that videos work but photos don't. Are you using gcam?

At the time I am working on the big upgrade (I hope it will boot at least). I'll see what I can do in the next months.
Both. The V5 fortunafz/gprimeltexx worked tho. Should i just edit updater script and flash the ltexx version?

Thank you so much for your work on this fine rom.

My best friend has a SM-G530T 8GB (gprimeltetmo), it WAS unusable because of the bloated stock OS.

I installed it last night the minute i saw the post here on XDA.
Note this is after successfully installing the LineageOS 17.1 (lineage-17.1-20210103-UNOFFICIAL-gprimelte.zip)
This also worked excellent, but I saw the part where Android GO was designed for lower end hardware.

Initially I had problems with asserts and after changing all the scripts I realized TWRP 3.1.1.x from TWRP.me was the wrong required version.

This is a perfect explanation of what I did for success.

Make sure you have at least stock 5.0.1.
Enable OEM Unlock in developer settings, power off.
Boot to download mode Vol. Down + Home + Power and release after a couple of seconds.
Vol. Up to confirm and connect to PC

Flash in Odin3_v3.10.7 as AP
TWRP-3.2.3-lineage-15.1_j11_20190908_gprimelte.tar

When phone is starting again, remove battery.
Boot to recovery (TWRP) Vol. Up + Home + Power and release when you see recovery in yellow on top screen.

Format data then Advanced Wipe (everything) except SDcard and OTG

Flash
lineage-18.1-20220120-UNOFFICIAL-gprimelte-V6stable.zip
then
BiTGApps-arm-11.0.0-R45_signed.zip
then
Magisk-v24.1.zip

Wipe Dalvik/Cache
Reboot, enjoyment!

SO far it works perfect and very good battery life.
4.5GB free with all required apps installed.
This brings new life to a 8GB phone, very smooth and snappy.

I think 17.1 was a little faster but that might be in my mind.

Couple of thoughts I would like to point out,

WiFi is always slow like ~7-8Mbps and after switching the wifi on/off once or more times then you get full speed ~47Mbps, anyone experienced this?

Also I installed busybox and smartpack kernel manager.
Can the kernel settings be modified? like cpu governors, etc.?

Is there any other kernels to work on the SM-G530T, I am afraid to use any other models in case of failure.
I saw Trap kernel but I think that is for stock rom.

Hi, great. I don't think there are other kernels you can use as an alternative to this one. This one has a few backports which make it stable. Probably if you are going to use other old kernels this android 11 release may crash due to the lack of such backports.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restores the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    ROM project Info:
This lineage-18.1 project comes with a SafetyNet fix that isn't part of the official AOSP code.

This is my little gift for the xda community! This is the work of months trying & building a decent rom for gprime. If you want to help, try things and tell me what doesn't work by filling the bug-report template down there! Thank you :)

++ you can also try my Q release here !++

I don't plan to release often for other models as I don't own a server to build multiple variants but only my PC with limited hdd capacity to compile this rom.

    Reporting bugs:
    • DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or if you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
    • Fill the following report template:
    Code:
Build date/Release version you downloaded/installed (the name of the .zip file):
    Device variant you are using:
    Gapps version (if using):

    Did you--
    wipe:
    restore with titanium backup:
    reboot after having the issue:

    Are you using--
    a task killer:
    a non-stock kernel:
    other modifications:

Provide any additional information (observations/frequency of problem/last version it worked on/etc) as needed:

@Gabboxl You can fix the overheating issue by introducing Simple Thermal Driver by Sultan XDA. You can see the commits in my Lineage-17.1 Kernel.

New release coming tomorrow! I've managed to fix the biggest issues, after this one I'm going to build for other variants too! Expect some builds in the next few days 😉
