Hi @Gabboxl

First of all, thank you so much for your help and awesome job!

Please, could you tell me what version of TWRP should I use to be able to flash your lineage-18.1-20210427-UNOFFICIAL-fortuna3gdtv-V4stable.zip ?

I've tried using the https://dl.twrp.me/fortuna3g/ but I've got this error message:

"E3004: This package is for device: fortuna3gdtv; this device is fortuna3g
Updater: process ended with ERROR: 1
Error installing zip file '/sdcard/lineage-18.1-20210427-UNOFFICIAL-fortuna3gdtv-V4stable.zip' "

Thanks in advance.

You are using a twrp build for fortuna3g and not for fortuna3gdtv, which is your variant. By the way, why are you trying to install the V4? There's V6 available : )

Yeah, I know. But I didn't find any TWRP version for my fortuna3gdtv. Do you know where can I find it? About the V4, I didn't know that the V6 also worked with my device.

Regards.

Hello,

i have couple of questions as i haven't used custom Rom in like 8 years or so since my ace phone and i hope it wont be annoying to you by any means.

firstly as i read the comments this version is rather stable but does it runs better than the stock lollipop Rom from Samsung my phone is the sm-g530h XXU variant because honestly my phone hardly response now days.

secondly can i use the official recovery system to install this or i need to install TWRP ?

thirdly where can i find latest stable version of TWRP if it's needed for my device ?

lastly can i go back to offical rom-recovery system using odin or i would need other means to do that ?

you need TWRP
use odin install method
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-twrp-for-samsung-galaxy-grand-prime.4420539/
then just in twrp wipe, factory reset and move rom zip from computer to phone via usb and click install choose the rom .zip file in the internal storage aand swipe to flash
if you need google apps download from opengapps.org use android 11 arm not arm64
then flash like the rom zip

they are similar, installs google apps like playstore and stuff. choose the smallest package possible (pico for opengapps) and install your other apps needed by playstore
I have heard that on some roms, you need to reflash bitgapps after each update. Anyone know anything about that?

thanks a lot for your fast replay and follow up .
ok i also wait to check that issue with bitgapps if someone replays back to that and if no one replays back then i think i will go with opengapps
in the meantime i will get my device ready to be flushed (backup and download packages )

thanks again @LR7875

Hi, so, for me the rom is somewhat better than stock but you are the judge here.
To install the rom you will always need twrp here.
For the latest twrp check the first post.

Yes, to reinstall stock you have to use odin.

what is the difference between bitgapps and opengapps and is it true bitgapps have some instability,
as there may be a refer to an issue in this replay so could u clarify that for me?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11 (R), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restores the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

    ROM project Info:
This lineage-18.1 project comes with a SafetyNet fix that isn't part of the official AOSP code.

This is my little gift for the xda community! This is the work of months trying & building a decent rom for gprime. If you want to help, try things and tell me what doesn't work by filling the bug-report template down there! Thank you :)

++ you can also try my Q release here !++

I don't plan to release often for other models as I don't own a server to build multiple variants but only my PC with limited hdd capacity to compile this rom.

    Supported devices:
If your device/variant IS NOT listed on the FIRST post, then IT IS NOT SUPPORTED.
    Code:
    - gprimeltexx (SM-G530FZ) (since V1beta)

    Reporting bugs:
    • DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or if you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.
    • Fill the following report template:

@Gabboxl You can fix the overheating issue by introducing Simple Thermal Driver by Sultan XDA. You can see the commits in my Lineage-17.1 Kernel.

New release coming tomorrow! I've managed to fix the biggest issues, after this one I'm going to build for other variants too! Expect some builds in the next few days 😉
