Are you sure it's the ROMs fault.
It always worked for me here.

Maybe you don't have coverage in your area or your provider doesn't have 5G yet?
Does it work on MIUI?

5g covers my area and my provider does have 5g. On MIUI it seemed to work pretty well.

There seems to be an issue with GApps in this build. More than one user reported this issue, I immediately pulled the update and will release a new version.

Hello,
The battery drains quickly, you have to charge several times a day even without using the phone.
The very fast charge does not work either, it takes more than 10 hours for a charge of 20 to 100%

Any solutions ?

This persists through clean installs and updates of this particular rom.

I use the exact same set of apps on another device, also running PixelExperience, never seen anything like this.

I just saw this on the pixel experience Android 11 build. It also uses lots of the sim data and drains the battery. Looks like some kind of a leak and not a virus guys

it's a google play services issue, you have to disable GmsIntentOperationService or block with an adblocker ota.googlezip.net
happens me too on ArrowOs for monet and various custom rom for redmi9, should be fixed on rom side by developers
