What is this?
PixelExperience Plus is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, boot animation) it has some extra additions over base version.

For sure, the screen mirroring by miracast doesn't works... They only managed to work in Android 10 because of the app SmartView of Samsung... without it in any other oasp rom i didn't never see working.. by the way nice rom very clean and important batery duration improvement in comparation with any of Samsung Ones..

Is it possible to get work profiles and encryption working?

Tried to setup my work profile but that requires encryption. Beginning the encryption process is fine. Asks for the PIN and connecting the charger. When clicking on Encrypt Phone, device restarts by itself, Google splash screen appears, then the normal white page with the G icon gets replaced with the black screen and G icon and the sliding progress bar underneath it.

I've left it on for about 8 hours but it was still stuck on the same screen. Force restarted my phone, but the phone gets stuck on the white page with the G Icon and the same progress bar continuously moving. (again for more than an hour or so with no progress)

Booting the phone into TWRP instantly shows me that the phone is encrypted, but doesn't accept my PIN for decrypting either.

Factory wiped the phone... got into the fresh ROM again and tried to Encrypt immediately. Still getting the same issue.

Not sure if I am missing something.

Context:
Its the first time I've flashed a custom rom onto my device. Installed TWRP 3.5.2 using Odin and flashed the ROM successfully. Device isn't rooted and don't intend to.
Been using it for about 2 weeks without any issues, but this has made me erase all my data and lose what I had on it.

you can try whitewolf LOS Q026. Although it's for android 10 but it still can be used on AOSP R

So I've been running this without issue since it was released but now it appears Googlehave been trouble yet again. Google pay worked without issue but now even though my device is not rooted they have suddenly blocked google pay from working on my phone with this ROM and I get the dreaded you are on a custom ROM or rooted device bla bla blaaaaaa damm I hate google sometimes. Unless someone has a fix without me having to root and change settings and hide stuff etc I may go back to a different ROM in which the setup hides pay and it works out of the box. Anybody else with same issue on a non rooted device running this ROM and have been using Google pay I would be interested to know if you have same issues?

it's fixed in latest pixel experience build but since the op looks like gave up on it so you may try my build of pixel experience.

It is a great rom indeed, however I find the stock camera that comes with the rom to be a bit too underwhelming. Have any of you guys tried to install the Gcam? May I know which version of which model you guys are installing?

After I flashed this rom, everything worked fine, except for the communication model of my phone, which means I can't call anyone, can't send msg, and can't use the mobile data, I can only connect to wifi and bluetooth.

Sound like when you flashed the Rom it erased your network APN settings. Easy to fix as I've had this many many times before. Simply Google APN setting for whoever your network provider is and follow there easy to follow steps and it should sort the issue. Please let us know if it fixes it as it really does sound like it's that.

Only other thing you could try is to flash the stock vendor image or better still flash a rom based on a stock rom then do wipe as normal and try the project elixir rom based on Android 12. You'll need to setup your APN settings again should the data not be working but this is all I can think of. Sometimes when you wipe vendor it can do this so backup the vendor in twrp after you've flashed a stock based rom then do wipe as per flashing instructions for the rom you want to flash and I usually flash stock vendor before flashing the rom I want to use but it's up to you. As I said I've moved from pixel experience to project elixir and its running great for me. Obviously I'm not responsible for any issues liked bricked device etc, this is me just trying to help. Hope it works, please let us know.

After more than 20 flashes, I finally decided to give up on this phone.
1. I've tried to flash Project Elixir into my Note9 many times, no matter what I tried (I've strictly followed the instructions in the guide), the results are all failure. TWRP prompts
"Updater process ended with signal: 4"
"Error installing zip file '/sdcard/PixelExperience_Plus_crownlte-11.0-20211015-0821-UNOFFICIAL.zip'"

2. I've tried to flash the stock rom first and then back up the vendor, then flashed the Pixel Experience Plus, and then restored the previously backed up vendor as you said before, but there is still no mobile signal after flashing.

I've tried a lot of other things besides the two above, and the results have been frustratingly frustrating, either with no effect or with all kinds of failures.

As I said at the beginning, I've been tossing this Samsung Note9 for 2 or 3 days, and it's time to give up. Currently I flashed it back to the latest stock rom via Odin, and the good news is that everything is "normal" at the moment, the bad news is that this is Android 10 and that's not what I want. Anyway, at least it's a functioning phone, that's enough.
