Bug report: Sometimes media control inputs (play/pause, next and forward) from Bluetooth connected speakers/devices do not work. Tested with different devices.

AoD seems bugged, its turned on in settings but once the phone is lock 5 out of 10 times the AoD don't show up, and if it does work once you wake the device but not unlock it the AoD doesn't come back on once the screen turns off.

Has anyone issues with SafetyNet? My Pixel 2 XL fails both basicIntegrity and ctsProfile (with basic attestation). I enabled MagiskHide but it fails nonetheless.

Edit: Restarting solved the issue and SafetyNet passes again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You don't need magisk to pass safetynet. My builds pass all root checks by default (safetynet and root beer). Flashing magisk will break safetynet

Not a fan, some people like to use magisk modules to make systemless changes, use magiskhide to hide root from apps, and do things that your method prevents.

Your method would likely end in my wearables not working...

What do you mean my method? My solution for root is the best way to deal with it. I'm using the latest fingerprint from pixel 5 plus shipping builds signed with release keys. Try the ROM unroofed and check if your wearable works. I'm sure they will. And in general, I won't provide support for people who flash magisk/closed/etc
Attached below are screenshots from root beer and safety net check. In root beer check, notice they have magisk checks. If magisk is detected , you'll fail more extensive root checks. Safetynet will still pass tho

Here is an example of a rooted device. I can still bank and my watch works too.

Okay good for you. I'm just stating there's no need for magisk to pass safetynet. You can use it if you want modules, but I will not provide support for users if they are having issues with apps detecting root when using magisk. For example, I use the Santander UK mobile app which detects magisk hence why I set my builds to pass all root checks natively. Also your wearables should work regardless of root status

Your point is clear. I did not mean to confuse people. It's nice having it pass safetynet out of the box. No root required!

For those that still root for other reasons (for me), it's nice not having to use prop edits or similar modules to achieve the same goal.

Better user experience for everyone IMO. Thanks again @gibranm!

hi, not sure what you mean by sim service, but gsm provider is QCell. apn is qcellnet. if this info is what you referring to, or not. will provide more info.
This is what I meant. I'll talk to the Evo lead and see if he can add the apns. For now, see if you can add the apn info manually
