[ROM][11][OFFICAL] Evolution X 5.1

Looks like 5.4 was released today, and 5.3 was outright removed from the download page, rather than being available as an older version.

Anyone have a chance to try it out yet?

@gibranm never released anything above 5.1, has changed his primary device aswell and probably not building EVOLUTION for taimen anymore according to updates.

What download page are you looking at?

Here, but now that I look closer look at the actual filename, "5.4" in the "tamien" folder is either incorrectly named "raphael" but really is "tamien," or it's correctly named "raphael" but incorrectly misfiled in the "tamien" folder and instead should be in the "raphael" folder. Obviously if it's the latter, then it's not for a Pixel 2 XL.

All the other older filenames in the "tamien" folder correctly say "tamien."

Sorry as I'm not familiar with the EvolutionX team, but do we know who released and posted 5.2 and 5.3 on the downloads page?

I think it's all sorted out now. There's no other taimen release apart from our old one in that folder.
Gibrann is our official builder and his last is 5.2 (Dec).

@deedwar builds his own 5.3, 5.4 etc in his own androidfilehost folder . There's no other publicly available version of EvoX.
You can Google his builds but am not putting link here to avoid confusion to other users.

So I've installed this ROM and have two questions:
1. I see in description it says "4 Statusbar Icon Styles", but i can't find this option anywhere. I wanna change wi-fi and mobile data icon.
2. The "Styles" bar in Google Wallpapers casuses crash of the app, is it ok?

upd: one more thing... I've noticed that my phone doesn't use fast charging while charging with the OG adapter and OG cable

I updated my pixel 2xl using the "system update" settings to "EvolutionX_5.3_taimen-11". Got the update installed, but now my phone doesn't recognize my screenlock pin and won't unlock. The location is also off so am unable to set a new password using "find my phone". Someone please help. TIA

Edit: can't switch off or reboot as it asks for pin, so can't reset the phone (don't know any other way to reset). Can't switch on location because it asks for pin here as well.

Try holding the power button until the screen goes black, then hold volume down as it boots and you can flash or wipe from the bootloader

Data, wifiCalling, both not working (Verizon). Otherwise, this was my first try at this amazing custom rom.

Verizon data was working in the last 5.4 build. Wifi calling was not working. There is a 5.5 build out which I have not flashed yet.

I was using it for some time. Everything works but there's apn bug. I am on vodafone and need to toggle apn settings to make it connect to mobile data.

Stopped using it mainly as unaware if its safe.
The sources aren't known and no idea what's in the build tho works as expected!
