Without Magisk, I can confirm that Google Pay works. For me its working fine each time i switch to this rom at any condition. With Magisk i never tried, cannot answer thatI'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this but any help would be appreciated.
I've been having trouble getting Google Pay to work with this ROM. Magisk says I pass the SafteyNet test but Google Pay still says that the device does not meet security standards. I came from Havoc-OS which Pay worked fine on, even without Magisk.
If someone has gotten Pay to work, could you give me some help?
Thanks for the reply, I got it working now. Although I'm not sure what I did to fix the problem lmao. I think it was just a combination of restarts, app reinstalls and storage clearing.
Yes, this build is drinking a lot of battery. It's very poor comparing to v5.0.1 build. Something like: 100 to 99% in 5 hours of sleep on v5.0.1 build and 100 to 90% with the same 5 hours on v5.1 build. 1% vs almost 10% is very annoying.
I, too, have experienced the significant battery drain compared to previous versions and other roms. Went from 100% to 81% in 8 hours while sleeping last night and 100% to 83% the previous night. Usually, the drain is between 3% and 8%.
Yup if you go to settings > customizations > themes, there's an option to disable transparency for notifications. I'm on v5.0.1 so I'm not sure if it's in the same place but it should be somewhere around there.
Ahh, thanks! I had to scroll down there to find it.
Just opened this thread to report this bug and found your comment. Rom is very stable and no other rom can be compared with this rom in new UI and customisation. And it's just initial release.
I request you and everyone to switch the OOS base to 10.3.11 because i am not facing any of the issues mentioned in the thread after 5.1 update. Also i clean flashed this thats also something to consider.Just opened this thread to report this bug and found your comment. Thanks @SevralT and core devs for this cool rom.
Hope that this bug will be fixed in future updates.
I think you're right... I used oos 10.3.10. But also clean flashed the rom. Also i had experienced another problem. I use pixel launcher for DT2S but it didn't work... And when i tried to remove the launcher from magisk my device stuck in bootloop. Dirty flash didn't work.

This rom looks promising indeed. Going to try it soon.
Are there any bugs in the Gapps version as compared to Vanilla build?
I am currently on the EvoX 5.6 latest build, and I want to switch to DotOS 5.0.1 Gapps version. What are the exact steps to be followed for proper installation (along with TWRP and Root)? Help would be appreciated.
