I dirty flashed DotOS v5.1 Gapps over v5.0.1 Gapps too, and everything is working fine. Don't know yet about battery optimization in this build, but the update's very stable here. Thanks for this amazing experience

There is a very annoying little bug. when you close a music application, media notification disappears, but when you slide the notification panel down, it shows part of the latest media notification while swiping

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this but any help would be appreciated.
I've been having trouble getting Google Pay to work with this ROM. Magisk says I pass the SafteyNet test but Google Pay still says that the device does not meet security standards. I came from Havoc-OS which Pay worked fine on, even without Magisk.
If someone has gotten Pay to work, could you give me some help?

Without Magisk, I can confirm that Google Pay works. For me its working fine each time i switch to this rom at any condition. With Magisk i never tried, cannot answer that

Thanks for the reply, I got it working now. Although I'm not sure what I did to fix the problem lmao. I think it was just a combination of restarts, app reinstalls and storage clearing.

Yes, this build is drinking a lot of battery. It's very poor comparing to v5.0.1 build. Something like: 100 to 99% in 5 hours of sleep on v5.0.1 build and 100 to 90% with the same 5 hours on v5.1 build. 1% vs almost 10% is very annoying.
I, too, have experienced the significant battery drain compared to previous versions and other roms. Went from 100% to 81% in 8 hours while sleeping last night and 100% to 83% the previous night. Usually, the drain is between 3% and 8%.

When i m using a Bluetooth headset and receive a call phone just hangs for around 5 to 10 sec and don't hear sound of other person and cant even change the call to earpiece or speaker it just stuck Bluetooth
Just opened this thread to report this bug and found your comment. Rom is very stable and no other rom can be compared with this rom in new UI and customisation. And it's just initial release.

Thanks @SevralT and core devs for this cool rom.

Hope that this bug will be fixed in future updates.

I request you and everyone to switch the OOS base to 10.3.11 because i am not facing any of the issues mentioned in the thread after 5.1 update. Also i clean flashed this thats also something to consider.

I think you're right... I used oos 10.3.10. But also clean flashed the rom. Also i had experienced another problem. I use pixel launcher for DT2S but it didn't work... And when i tried to remove the launcher from magisk my device stuck in bootloop. Dirty flash didn't work.

Will try to flash with 10.3.11 hope that Bluetooth calling will work.
BTW thanks for the reply.

Hello, I have just installed this ROM, fantastic! :)
But I don't receive sms notifications, I must open Messages app to see if I received new messages... what can be the problem?
EDIT: I'm an idiot... I was in DnD mode... 🙄😁

    Have you tried this method?

For me, 10.3.11 version doesn't work, but 10.3.3 does its work and everytime I must reflash all I use the "flash-all-partitions-fastboot" command . One time I had to use the "flash-all" command.
Anyway, I'm not an expert, suggesting that link is the only thing I can do... I hope it wil help you...

U can also use this method to roll back to stock rom it is way more easier than fastboot mode

This rom looks promising indeed. Going to try it soon.

Are there any bugs in the Gapps version as compared to Vanilla build?

I am currently on the EvoX 5.6 latest build, and I want to switch to DotOS 5.0.1 Gapps version. What are the exact steps to be followed for proper installation (along with TWRP and Root)? Help would be appreciated.

I use the following method for all flashing.

    Flash ROM
    Flash TWRP
    If gapps are included:
    Format data.
    Reboot system.
    If gapps are not included:
    Reboot TWRP.
    Flash gapps.
    Format data.
    Reboot system.

If root wanted. Set up phone and reboot recovery to install magisk.

Others have different shortcuts, but this has worked without fail for the last 2+ years on the 6T.

    Hope it helps.

can we please count on some verizon support?
