[ROM][11][OFFICIAL] DotOS 5.2 [fajita]

Well I have tried clean flash. What I explained in my previous note is, upon flashing DotOs build in step 3 (OOS zip , TWRP & OOS zip, TWRP) it returns failed msg in twrp and doesn't install.

I opted for gapps package and later tried vanilla as well but to no avail.

I am able to install other roms but DotOs failed on each installation event

Try wiping data first. Full wipe where you type yes

I have tri d DotOs 5.1 gapps as well as DotOs 5.2.1 none of them works and fails installation

So you are flashing oos that works right? Then twrp rebooting to recovery. Repeating that booting into recovery again. Then when flashing dotos it fails?

Must be on oos 11

No. I specifically downgraded my device from OOS 11 to 10 to install this rom and I am still on 10.3.12

Pretty sure starting with dotos 5.1 had to be on oos 11

So what you saying is to install dost is 5.1 or above I should be on oos 11? Is my understanding correct here? Pls confirm.

If that's th case I can upgrade to oos 12 and retry

Looks like I really have a bad luck. I tried updating my device to official oos 11.1.2.2 and later tried flashing dotos 5.2.1 and right after I tried flashing trwp 3.6.9_9-0 for oos 11 it laded into Qualcomm crashdump mode.

Are you flashing the installer or the img of twrp?
Explain your steps
Should be flashing- oos,twrp,reboot to recovery
- repeat
-dotos,twrp, reboot to recovery
-repeat
-factory reset and wipe data typing yes
Boot to system

I tri d flashing the img file to boot into twrp where I went into Qualcomm crashdump mode.

Never got through the twrp initial boot only.

Once twrp would have booted I would have followed the steps you mentioned

Is their a specific twrp versiti should be using on oos 11 version to carry out this process? If yes kindly recommend and if possible share the link for download

Img is for fastboot boot twrp -do not flash boot
Zip is for installing in twrp

Maybe I am confusing you here. What I meant was that I unlocked the bootloader and then pushed command as fastboot boot twrp.img and that's when I encountered the crashdump erro. What am I missing in my steps if you could figure out and suggest

Are you fastboot booting the same twrp as I sent? All other versions will crash dump on a11
