How do I adjust the face sensor sensitivity? I have a habbit of putitng the phone on my shoulder and tilting my head to hold it as I type information into my computer. But my ear ends up hangin up on people or turning off the WIFI or weird stuff like that. I can feel the haptic feedback on my should as I'm talking to people and my ear is picking stuff off.

Great rom, been using it for a few days together with RAD Kernel, battery and stability is good.

2 issues I have, appreciate if someone knows a solution.

1) It seems during a call when holding the phone to my ear my screen turns off (as it should) but it randomly turns on and I start pressing stuff with my cheek. I can "fix" this by locking my screen manually when picking up a call, but it's not ideal, sensor is working fine, so not sure what's causing this.

2) Camera working perfect, but when trying to use the camera function in Google Translate, you can see the cam moving 1sec and then it freezes (the app still functions normally even though the picture froze), camera works normal in other (Google) apps. Tried reinstall, clear cache, etc..., no fix.

Ciao! I had the same issues but tried rad r4 kernel as suggested above by @samster9100 and it solved the in-app cameras problems. Google lens it is a bit sluggish but it works, same happened with the WhatsApp camera function that is now working smoothly. I hope this helps.

I'm thinking about flashing this for the first time on my S8 tomorrow.

Is there anything I should know prior to that?
My KNOX isn't tripped yet, and I'm on Android 9 for the time being, fully stock.
Should I make the commitment? Is it worth it?
Apart from HWC not working, should I be worried about anything else?

edit: I'm thinking about either flashing this, or Lineage 17.1 (Android 10). I know there's an 18.1 version floating around somewhere with Android 11, but I can't find a link to it. If anyone has it, please do share.
Is there any benefit/disadvantage to using Havic 4.2 over LineageOS 17.1?

hey ive rooted my phone and installed hades rom totally worth it man! the battery life and smoothness both have increased, lineageos is real smooth but it has a problem where i cannot turn off 2nd sim in dual sim, so i switched to hades, hades even allows dex mode using hdmi cable

edit: Secure Folder also works in hades rom, btw its hades pie, Q has too many bugs so i haven't tried

I haven't seen any reply for 4G network unselectable in settings ? I can switch to 3G and 2G but 4G is impossible.
What's the problem ?

And How to get 4G working with this rom ?

I'm trying to get 4G working just after rom installation, no other apps installed, full stock.

I'm able to use 4G. Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile network > SIM > Preferred network type > LTE (recommended)
I hope your network and SIM both support LTE

I think this is a label error. The ROM is fast charging though the label says charging slowly.

After flashing this rom, the phone model changing to Google Pixel. For that application Smart Switch can't recognize the phone!
