Can someone assist me? I noticed in carrier settings that I'm only allowed to switch between 3G and 4G settings. Previously in other ROMs, including stock, I could go to LTE but my phone is denying me this on this ROM. Is this normal?

I checked the radio info under phone settings, and LTE is enabled there, but maybe this is just a visual thing? If it is my OCD is getting to me lol

Alright, I just remember at least 3 options to choose from.

Do you know why the ping test would fail for IPv6 here, or if it matters?

I clean flashed this rom about 6 hours ago. So far it showed me some pros and cons.

Pros:

- better battery life than PE (so far)

- included battery charge control

Cons:

- Weird scaling, dps and font size randomly resetting themselves

- Included launcher does not have the google search bar (a very big con for me at least & and using other launchers doesn't let you use app suggestions on the home screen)
The Havoc come up with shady launcher which doesn't have search bar yet but you can flash or install pixel launcher without any issue.
- Extremely aggressive auto brightness

- Apps like TikTok freezes and crashes after some time (will upload the log when I have time)

The apps crash has been fixed and will be pushed with next update.

Hi,
am using the rom now since a week. Thanks for your work, the feature set is amazing and all is woking :)

I have only 2 minor issues:
1. Sometimes when i wake up my device, the screen turns black and i must press the power button again. (AOD Display is enabled)
will be better if you can share logs
2. I have also sometimes app freezes, when i tap to a button nothing happens. I had this in Discord and Google Maps. An app restart has solved the issue
app freeze issue will be fixed with next update. Thanks.

Used for a while as DD and really loved it. A very complete experience with features and the best battery life out there right now. Although the phone feels little warm in general usage ( I never use back cover) but still battery is mammoth.

Fluid and PE felt cool with CPU temp not spiking in regular usage but can't compete on battery drain and features here.
I'll switch to RevengeOS official to check a lite ROM for a while but this is a golden build of Havoc to fall back to for stability and battery.
Hope Google search bar is added in dock in launcher.

Thank you for this awesome ROM.
if you want something lite then you can try vanilla build with lite gapps, might help you with cpu temp as well

Thanks man. Just wanted to know do i need to flash stock rom first and then flash Havoc ? Or i can directly switch to this rom from my current custom rom ?
if you are using an A11 based rom then simply follow the clean steps no need to flash stock but don't forget to take backup in-case something went wrong or you get crashes/errors during or after install then try clean after flashing stock. Thanks

yes, but not built in. i too hate the gestures so i use another app. you can either use the substratum no navbar mod, or install LSposed with gravitybox. i have tried both and prefer LSposed because it comes with many of my favorite modules. if you need help, just PM me.

Just flashed the latest to test...Vanilla, plus my own smaller NikGapps (im not tempting fate these days with my usual full NikGapps)

Flashed fine.

Only MagiskHide needed to be toggled on to pass SafetyNet out of the box

Bug(s):
  • Advanced Restart doesnt not work when toggled on in settings - not a showstopper, just mentioning it

It works for me. I'm not sure it makes any difference but I used the gapps version.

Showstopper for me is the ROM somehow lets Samsung Pay detect its rooted. (I set up the ROM and restore the exact same backup on every ROM i test.)

On top of Samsung Pay, I also know that root is given up by the ROM somehow, instantly when i open my banking app, as biometirc login is disabled.

Sadly currently only Pixel Experience and Bliss dont do this.

This is a personal showstopper and shouldnt discourage anyone else from using the ROM

Rolling back to PE or Bliss

I'm finally updating to Android 11 from Pie after over 2 years of procrastinating. Forgive me if this is a stupid question but I can't find the answer anywhere... is it not possible to install TWRP and Magisk after installing an Android 11 rom? (I did do a full wipe/factory install beforehand)

Edit: Never mind. I got it figured out using the method outlined here. (I've pasted it below in case the linked post gets deleted)

This works both ways on Sailfish & Marlin

TWRP 3.5.1_9-0 as Recovery Ramdisk can now co-exist with Magisk! Yey!

The twrp-installer-3.5.1_9-0-marlin.zip is still unable to boot back to recovery after flashing. But as long as you flash twrp-3.5.1_9-0-marlin.img as Recovery Ramdisk, then you're okay.

Note: Download first twrp-3.5.1_9-0-marlin.img from twrp.me and save it to your preferred download location.

You need to boot TWRP from bootloader by typing "fastboot boot twrp.img". After TWRP loads up, go to "Advanced>Install TWRP Image as Recovery Ramdisk>Find twrp-3.5.1_9-0-marlin.img location>Install Recovery Ramdisk".

After that reboot back to recovery then flash Magisk-v22.0.apk & viola!

I just clean flashed this yesterday from stock. At least 3 or 4 times per hour I'm experiencing unexpected soft reboots (where it just goes straight to the boot animation and gets back to the lockscreen, requiring my pin again before my fingerprint or any app will work again).

I can't figure out what's causing it. It actually happened again just now in the middle of trying to type this up. I used SysLog just now to grab logs. Can someone who can read logs interpret these for me and tell me what's causing the crashing?

So i had a quick look, but im no expert, but seems to be a lot of low memory, battery and audio related errors. Are you running any sort of tweaking/speed up modules/scripts, under magisk or other? If you are, stop running that snakeoil.

@bravesoul349, a great ROM. thank you are very much.
I noticed one bug with the screen lighting up when receiving notifications. Disabling this option in the settings does nothing.
I read that there is such a bug in GSI version also
New update has been pushed. Check if this build fix your issue.
