Hey, I installed this ROM and there's EVERYTHING included, this ROM is freaking complete thank you !

But, there are two issues that are bothering me, when I slide down the QS Panel, the borders are like, cropped ? And the clock is kinda ugly where it is. Look at the ss.

[It would be better if you could just put the Quick Settings Panel of the previous release on this update]

Can you PLEASE fix this, thank you very much.

First of all, thank you very much for all the effort preparing the rom. It looks really nice after testing it for a pair of days and I have not found major problems.

The most annoying bug I have experienced is that the clock gets delayed. During 24 hours I can observe how the clock skew can increase to several minutes (5 to 10 minutes) and I am forced to sync the clock (rebooting the system seems to perform such operation).

Any idea of what can be causing this issue? I would provide any log you need but I don't know exactly how to debug it properly.

EDIT: I tried different approaches. The "solution" was to disable the automatic syncing from the network. If I set the time manually, there is no discrepancy between the current time and the one shown by the phone. The strange thing is that before flashing with this rom there was no issue with the date and time provided by my operator. I have read that the NetworkTimeUpdateService may be involved in the process. Anyway, if I could receive some guidance I wouldn't have any problem in debugging it or providing further information.

I'd like to flash this ROM as I can't stand the MIUI bull****, but I've been using Resurrection Remix on Mi 8 Lite before and no camera app was as good as original MIUI camera app. So, I'd like to ask: does anyone there use ANXCamera and does it work completely, or do you use GCam instead (if so, is it working completely - all sensors, no big shutter lag, no viewfinder lag, no excessive noise...) or do you use another app altogether? Thanks

Hi! I have the 3gb/64 version too. How is the performance of this rom on it? Because the miui 12 is a lot slow for me, the camera lags? Thank you
The performance is top notch , so much better than miui sht, for the camera, just download BSG Gcam. BUUUTTT THE BATTERY ON THIS ROM DRAINS SO FAST ;( As soon as I switched to this Rom, my I noticed my battery was going down way too fat. Otherwise this Rom is one of the best. Pls fix the battery usage pls.

Thanks for this ROM. I have the 3/64 model and I'm curious to know if games run lag free, or at least less laggy than on MIUI. I'm experiencing freezes on stock ROM when I have a game and another app running in the background (PUBG and Instagram for example) and I believe it's because this model doesn't have enough RAM to allocate for this type of use. So if anyone can share how much RAM is available for use on Pixel UI or any feedback on overall performance, it would be appreciated.

    Cheers!

You can just downgrade the vendor before installing the rom.
Basically just flash this before the rom and it should install

Thank you so much, that solved my problem.
I had tried 3 different ROMs over 12.0.7.0, one booted always to recovery, two to Fastboot.
For a further choice of firmwares I actually went to https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/vendor/
Following your guidance, I moved the vendor-firmware.zip to SDcard, where I already had my ROM.zip. With TWRP selected first vendor-firmware.zip second ROM.zip. Swipe to flash.
On first boot, as soon as I saw animated logo, power button to stop. Automagically rebooted. 😃
I tried to do what you both guys said but every time I reboot the phone it brings me back to recovery :( that's what I tried:

    1) Went to TWRP (I installed this TWRP TWRP-RedmiNote9-V12.0.6.0.QJOMIXM-20201213-wzsx15-sanja56)
    2) Wiped everything (Dalvik\Data\Internal Storage\Cache) and then rebooted the recovery
    3) I insert an SD card in which I put the vendor file you linked and then the last PixelPlus UI ROM
    4) Selected first vendor-firmware.zip and added the second ROM.zip then swiped to flash
    5) Once the installations finished I went back to the main menu of the TWRP and Wiped everything (Dalvik\Data\Internal Storage\Cache) again (I also tried to wipe Dalvik and Cache only)
    6) Rebooted the system
Once I reboot the system the Redmi logo appears with the "powered by Android" underneath and after 5 seconds the phone reboots itself and then goes back to the recovery :(
What do you guys think I'm doing wrong?

What I did so that it would not happen to me again that was all they recommend in these post:

1.- Thread '[GUIDE][TWRP] How to keep TWRP V11.0.4.0 working on MIUI V12.0.5.0 or higher MIUI versions in MERLIN ? (Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 / Xiaomi Redmi 10X 4G)' https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...omi-redmi-note-9-xiaomi-redmi-10x-4g.4223077/

the system the Redmi logo appears with the "powered by Android" underneath and after 5 seconds the phone reboots itself and then goes back to the recovery
The first boot is perhaps critical. The behaviour may change depending on background MIUI version. My idea is that you try to be in control of first boot. Can you find an earlier point (perhaps when you first see "powered by Android") where you force stop? I have logged dozens of fails, but only 2 success, so I sure do not know the answer!
Edit, with another success logged, thanks to the help of @VD171 to have the device correctly prepared , I will just add that the Force stop trick is based on my experience with Samsung. What I now found is that as long as you never allow a boot into system from the very start, allowing a natural boot did work for me on another ROM. (untested on this ROM atm)

This is encouraging. I did make an effort to look for 12.03 global. Do you have a dl link handy?
You can just downgrade the vendor before installing the rom.

Wait.. how did you get TWRP working on a Redmi note 9?
    From here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...for-merlin-redmi-note-9-redmi-10x-4g.4227751/
    and be aware of https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...omi-redmi-note-9-xiaomi-redmi-10x-4g.4223077/
Edit, I now see above you have V12.0.7.0! :) Mine is also nfc and global.

    How to flash?
I don't want to flash the unofficial TWRP.
Please tell the full process for flashing.
First ur bootloader was must be unlocked
    Then flash TWRP from fastboot
    Fastboot flash recovery twrp. img
    Or
    Fastboot boot twrp. img
