is there an option to
- toggle the always on display off (workaround: use settings tile in pull down panel, first time: toggle on and off again ;-))
- prevent Bluetooth to be always visible?

First: this was the first hazzle free upgrade for me from major syberiaOS versions. Great! :)
I come from syberiaOS 10 with microG instead of gapps, and so is 11.
I encountered the following bugs so far:
- The clock app has yellow accent color and ignores the system set accent color
- in syberia menu in settings are 2 times the options double tap to wake up. This option is also in the android menus itself, so we do have 3 of the same options. Still, one in syberia OS settings doesn't wake up, I assume it is just a translation error
- if you switch apps fast, there is a glitch. Have an app open, go to home, click insantly on another app - the screen blinks, nothing happens. Do it more slowly and everything works as expected.

Some comment to Android 11 in general. As coming from Android 2.x and using Syberia from 9 on, my observation is, that 9 was the most userfriendly in terms of customizability functionwise. Since 10, Google seems to decrease important options and making it more compatible for the brainless sheep user for consuming just google services and ads. This again, has nothing todo with Syberia, but with Android in general. I am really undecided between the wish to have an up to date system and to see my options vanish with every new android version.

To syberia 11: I am glad to see most - if not all - features from 10 also implemented here, my both most importants are the kernel support for wireguard and the volumesteps.

Even if it has been asked for far in the past. There do exist some open source equivalent for google backup, which has to be intigreated into the rom receipe, as it can't be installed later. It would be great seeing this also, even if it is just to slow down the domination for (mandatory) google services. If this would be an option in general, I would gladly find the missing detail informations for this.

for the AOD - always on display, I found a workaround within the setting toggle tiles.
Even if AOD was on per default the tile was grey.
An activation didn't change anything, which is logical, as it is now officially switched on. A toggle again to off brought the desired effect.

strange is, that this was the only location where I could find a setting for this - what did I miss?

I don't know what features you're mostly interested in when it comes back to Google Backup but Titanium Backup (old but reliable), oandbackupX (free and open source) and swift backup are good options to backup your apps and their data.

They lack functionallity while migrating to other versions. I do have to find the solution I refer to, but it is more of a google backup replacement for ROMs. This would be more native and hazzle free. For the solutions your are refering and I 'm using, you need to schedule and move the files either per automation or manually. This adds more complexity and is more error prone.

seems to happen only with 3rd party launchers, tested with nova and lawnchair 2.
also I use gestures for navigation.

For me, impossible tu use Android Auto. My Phone totally crash when I put the USB from my car. Any solution ? Thank you !
android auto was always a problem with most AOSP roms.
As I never understood the value of it, neither if gapps in free roms, my cynical suggestion is to stick with original vendor rom.
especially for Android Auto, as the minority owns cars, even if I am a part of this minority.

I cannot get gps location to work with flamegapps or nikgapps. Tried countless times. Seems to work sometimes on gmaps. But never on many other apps. Switched to bitgapps and got to say this ROM has been best for me so far. Only 24 hours in but seems super stable and excellent battery. Cheers devs, great work 👍

Also, I installed the new update via Ota and some of the apps aren't working (DBS, gpay) as well as magisk safety net is failing.

As far as it first build with OSS vendor some issues could be present for now. And this build doesn't published via OTA for now.

Advice: make backup of your vendor partition in TWRP before this build installing, otherwise other custom ROMs and previous syberia builds will be incompatible with this vendor.
