Do the vol+ and vol- buttons work correctly when you connect some external earphones? I mean, the phone's hardware vol+ and vol- buttons work well, but when I try to use the earphone's buttons, it looks like that only the pause/play button is working well and does its job. But when I pressed vol+ or vol-, nothing happened.

When I look at the phone's screen while pressing my earphone's vol+ and vol- buttons, it looks like something is happening in there (on the screen), like the buttons were acting as the enter key or some tapping/touching of the screen is taking place -- I can for instance enter to the settings by pressing vol+ or vol- buttons

I tried connecting my earphones through the minijack and via the usbc adapter. In both cases I got the same result. The earphones were working fine with the stock ROM.

Do you experience the same behavior or maybe I accidentally pressed some setting which changed the action of the buttons?

Sorry. I can't answer your question.
I just wanted to ask you for a review of the rom. Except for the issue you already mentioned, how is everything else with the rom? Any major function not working like video camera etc. And overall smoothness and usability as a daily driver.

It looks good to me, it works well. I can't say any bad word about it.

But the problem with the earphones is rather a major one, at least to me, because I can't really manipulate volume when the earphones are plugged in -- I have to use the phone physical buttons for that, which is quite annoying, as I listening to the music a lot. But this issue should be easily reproducible -- just plug some earphones to the phone and press vol+ or vol-.

Also I wanted to ask -- where's the autostart of the apps? I couldn't find any and it looks like all the apps I install start with phone's boot, which can easily lead to OOM situation, which I've hit once.
