Project Sakura is a custom ROM based on Lineage OS, It tries to remain true to it while also providing some more functionality and UI changes. Its sole purpose is to provide a platform which is powered by Lineage and is more customisable than Lineage.

 Your warranty is now void. We are not responsible for anything that may happen to your phone by installing any custom ROMs and/or kernels. You do it at your own risk and take the responsibility upon yourself and you are not to blame us or XDA and its respected developers.

CLEAN FLASH( if coming from any other ROM or from Sakura Android 10) :
Download the Build you want to flash,
- Download the ROM from website.
- Reboot to recovery ( Install TWRP from here )
- Take Backup (Not Necessary)
- Wipe System, Data, Cache , Dalvik
- Flash the latest build
- Flash Opengapps(if you need Gapps)
- Reboot

DIRTYFLASH( if updating from Sakura Android 11) :
1) via OTA (read more here)
2) Manual Method
- Download the Build you want to flash,
- Download the ROM from website.
- Reboot to recovery ( Install TWRP from here )
- Flash the latest build. (no need to flash Gapps when dirty flashing)
- Reboot

How to fix bootloops after coming from OneUI 3.x ports (Not needed after 5.2 update as vendor is included)
1) Boot to TWRP
2) Download this vendor image
3) Install --> Flash image --> select image --> select vendor
4) Flash Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_11.02.2020.zip from here
5) Flash the ROM.zip

How to update to new version via OTA
1) Open settings and go to Sakura updates.
2) Check for updates
3) Download update if available
4) After downloading it will ask to install it, Tap on yes it will reboot to recovery and install automatically.
5) Flash Magisk (if you dont do this, it might not boot)
6) Enjoy the new update

Bugs discovered:
*Secured power menu isnt actually secured on lock screen, doesnt ask password before doing its thing.

*notification panel settings in system menu doesnt open(force closes settings app)

*restart button after enabling lockdown menu option acts weirdly(opens and closes immedietly).

*dont know if its a bug but, the browser apps dont respect the denied permissions. I downloaded brave and bromite browsers. I did not give any of them permission to r/w storage but there was no prompt to allow storage access and images downloaded directly. When i checked settings, the storagr access was indeed disabled but the apps were still able to access storage

I believe the custimization settings in sakura menu will be braught back in the future updates?
Anyway it just works and only has few minor ui bugs. Havent tested phone calls and messaging.

Hi, dont flash it yet as its still in beta. It has many ui bugs and lacks many customization options from previous versions. ~Also magisk does not work on it yet. Wait a few weeks~.

Bugs discovered:

2)Full screen playback is weird(i dont know how to describe )
[edit]:full screen playback is working fine, it was just jelly being jelly

3)Icons(battery, carrier info, airplane mode icon,date,time) on QS dissappear after expanding it

6)apps cant access fingerprint. eg. Easy Diary app keeps crashing after trying to set fingerprint lock, magisk manager does not have fingerprint confirmation setting available.

7)it takes too long for phone to actually shutdown after manually pressing shutdown button. You cant do anything for 5 minutes after pressing shutdown.

8)very concerning bug:- the apps dont respect the denied permissions. I downloaded brave and bromite browsers. Do a clean flash. Use backup apps like Migrate to help you.

No you wont get Android 11 based sakura via OTA when you are on Android 10 based sakura

Bugs I found:
1. Phone restarts automatically
2. Wifi dropdown menu is not working
3. Status bar is not customizable. When we openn status bar in settings it crashess
4.Vpn button in quick settings tile is not working
5.Navigation bar hint is glitched in landscape mode. When we open apps in landscape the bar appears suddenly even though it is disabled in settings

I hopee these bugs will be fixed soon. And please make lawnchair launcher as inbuilt launcher.

It's like 4 to 6 restarts per hour.

Did you disable MagiskHide? It's said to cause random crashes in the opener.

Yes it was disabled. Still crashing.
Changed to lineage.
Sakura is good, but only reason to change is that random crashes
