Giving this rom a go after half a year dailying xiaomi.eu rom, pretty impressed so far.

Is there any workaround to fix that annoying android 11 related wallpaper cropping? Just literally crops my precise resolution wallpapers for that stupid zoom out effect when you pull notification bar and so on... infuriating.

Smart charging doesn't seem to work?
I tried Stop trigger level: 79, Start trigger level: 21 and both triggers default. When charging, it just charges straight to 100% like usual?

Just saw the same, charged to 100% ignoring stop trigger :-(.

I have Redmi note 9 pro 5g, and try to install EEA but its not working must use Chinese version, and camera working nice. But I want to go to EEA..

Hm, same hardware but looking good for me (i only use GCam).

Its a bug from one of the latest firmwares, I managed to get it working again reinstalling the second version of MIUI (android 11)

Thanks Kurt, camera is fine with the latest firmware. I noticed something else.
Out of a sudden sometimes, for example while browsing with firefox, the dialer shows up in the status bar without a call and battery drain is ~20% for com.qualcomm.qti.cne ...

Do you have any idea what's that?

Same thing happened to me few days ago. I've read that com.qualcomm.qti.cne aka. CneApp is related to WiFi/Mobile smart switching. Just seems odd that this CneApp would start draining when I have the smart switching turned off..

I just disabled CneApp completely.

Android System started draining battery on idle, cant seem to figure out what is causing it. On the other hand, is this rom still maintained or development has halted?

EDIT: Battery drain was caused by google services, doesn't seem to be rom related.
EDIT2: Same battery drain after clean flash.

@heatti I'm having the same issues since start of November. I've also realized, that my network traffic is on an all-time-high. When I tried getting to the bottom of it, I found out, that "System Updates" are the reason for it. In the last days, System Update has caused about 20GB of traffic. In my case I guess I could be a spyware victim. I also found out, that there are ~22000 cam accesses, followed by massive counts of message, calendar, location, contacts accesses in the background in the last days.

I really like this rom, but I think, that only one update per quater is just not enough especially when it comes to security. I'm thinking of switching to another rom. Unfortunately pixel experience seems to be the only rom that is constantly updated and safe to use (se linux activated, ...) for gauguin. Nevertheless, I'm not the biggest google fan ... -.-

Does anyone else experience a similar behavior with project sakura?
