Help. I cant find the option to change how the back button or recents button behave when long press or double press. Even though the search list it, when going to it there was no option visible.

Media playback gets stuck every 4 seconds.
YouTube video, Music, Ringtone, Alarm... Starts playing and in around 4 seconds gets stopped for maybe a second or two and again continues.
Clean flashed the latest release.
Add Ons Magisk and AXN.
If there is a solution please do suggest.

Hello, I guess you have latest firmware, I had similar problem when i installed firmware V12.5.1.0.
Try to downgrade the firmware to V12.0.6.0, for me it worked.
You are right, same for me.
As far as i know it should be stated somewhere in posts and site that we need to use 12.0.6.0 version.
When i first installed i had overlooked that info than saw it and fixed it.

I installed the ROM today morning and I am loving it.
But, there seems to be a bug where the video that is being played freezes and resumes multiple times. This happens in all apps (Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, Photos, Snapchat etc ...)
Did some else experience this? Can someone please help me?

The solution to the freezing was posted literally a couple comments ago.

Hello I am on latest 12.5.1 and tried the first time install steps, nothing more nothing less but the boot took like 20 min (I waited patiently) and then the phone booted into bootloader, any one can help me?
Do I need to flash a vendor or idk that isn't specified?

You Have to flash MIUI 12.0.6 android 10 based Firmware. File size is almost 100Mb.
I've formatted data and it worked!
Installed ROM/Magisk/Immensity kernel
Will flash 12.0.6 when I'll be too annoyed by the video lagging
Is anyone having trouble detaching the media player notification from QS panel? I've disabled that setting from Sound & Vibration -> Hide media player in Quick Settings but all the players I use are still showing in QS panel.

Hello!
I think this is related to notifications setting. You have to disable notifications for each app that use QS media control.
But disabling these notifications hides all notifications from media players on quick settings. I don't want this, just to put these notifications where they belong: BELOW QS panel, like in all other AOSP ROMs.

In every AOSP A11 ROM I've tried, when I disabled media in QS Panel, it was really disabled. Only on EvoX it stays in QS Panel even if it's disabled. It seems to be a bug.Sorry, I misunderstand. I can't help you...

Does anyone else face issues with very slow download speed and timeouts when trying to download the latest rom? The older files are faster to download.

(I know I'm going to receive a lot of flak for this post, but I guess I'll learn something along the way...)
I downloaded one of the earliest available stable releases of the Evolution X ROM from 10.06.2020 vis-a-vis 10th of June, 2020 (no, that's not a typo, really, more than a year ago).
I installed the ROM physically i.e. downloaded the ROM on my PC, copied it via USB on my phone, then booted into Recovery and flashed the ROM. Clean install.
Now, I have the following questions:
1) This thread talks about Android 11, but my Evolution X ROM is more than a year old (so probably based on Android 10). Can I do an OTA update directly on my phone? Or do I need to update to Android 11 manually and then do the update to the latest Evolution X ROM?
2) Speaking of an OTA update - I did download a system update via OTA approx. 2 months ago, and it was saved in internal folder. But somehow I couldn't get Recovery to find this folder and initialise a dirty flash. Can someone help me with a readme / tutorial on how to do the OTA update?
3) A few more questions, but let's see if I can get through (1) and (2) first...

35Probably the most anticipated update has arrived.
OK Google hotword detection finally works again while on lockscreen or while screen is off. Along with that, issues with audio on other apps should no longer be an issue as well. The issue with Live wallpapers crashing SystemUI repeatedly has been fixed. It was related to the theming options added in the previous build, specifically the SysUI color options which have now been removed. A MIUI-style volume panel option has been added. QS tint styles have been revamped and now you can choose from 4 options (default, accent color, OOS and Android 12). Navbar/LS/Ambient pulse has been removed indefinitely due to breaking the ROM for devices with hardware keys. Lockscreen charging info has also been removed for providing inaccurate estimates.
