I find significant battery life improvement in 21st June update... I was using 20 June update for the last couple of days & hourly battery drain is 16%...Now I find 8% hourly battery drain... I hope it stays the same..

NB : I have also reduced the maximum core frequencies a little bit & it may be one of the reasons for the improved battery life

Yeh seems to be back to how it was a couple updates back, which is great!

Pixel Experience official - June hotfix
* Loudspeaker audio fix
* Minor performance improvements

FIRMWARE AND VENDOR ALREADY INCLUDED

Dirty flash is fine

NOTE: Only use kernels marked as "CAF"! "OSS" or prebuilt kernels won't fully work!

Important: Older recoveries, particularly OrangeFox will not work with this build. TWRP 3.5.1+ or any build of PE recovery is recommended! New TWRP builds (3.5.2_10-5+) are untested!

Hi there.
There are a couple of details that I miss in the pixel ROMs of this device.
the first is the option to record calls (which I had natively in MIUI global) and the second is the ability to take scrolling screenshots.
Overall I am very happy with the work on this ROM.

Sorry for my English, I'm from Spain and I use the translator.

Was on 2105 build with no issues for the last week or so - Updated through the built in updater last night which seemed to work fine, but mobile data is now broken - 2g for calls/texts works, but no 3g/4g etc.

Tried dirty flash to downgrade and that failed, so had to revert to a TWRP backup, which got data working again.

Just tried flashing the 2106 version manually via TWRP and exactly the same - everything works fine with wifi/bluetooth, but no mobile data connectivity.

This is on EE - the biggest UK network, so hardly a fringe case.

Network settings seem the same as on previous version - any ideas on how to fix it?

Just to confirm - even with a clean flash there appears to be a bug in the June 21st version - if you use EE in the UK do NOT UPGRADE to the 2106 version as you may well lose mobile data connectivity - dirty flash to downgrade doesn't work.

Tried resetting network connections - removing sim - manually checking APN, still no data function (Wifi works perfectly). Phone shows LTE or LTE+ in bar, but cross against signal graph and data connectivity does not work.

Confirmed with a clean flash using TWRP 3.5.2_10-5

2105 build works OK so will have to revert to that until the issue is resolved or look elsewhere.

Just as an FYI there were no major changes to telephony since may. You're the first person reporting this issue too, so I'd say it's more likely it's something on your side. I'd try these things: SIM from a different carrier (maybe it's a hardware issue?), other SIM from EE (maybe it's just been locked or something?), swapping SIM slots (no idea why it'd matter but worth a try) and finally playing with preferred network type for a bit.

I do find Auto Brightness 🔆 is not working as it should be... I always have to manually increase the brightness to see the screen... It's the same whether it is inside or outside..

Anyone having the same issue?
Same with me ..

in my side, i flash 12.0.8.0 EEA firmware and the Auto Brightness working usually (like i want). The other working normally.

FAQ (yes, I know, these things may be obvious to you)
1. Do safetynet/gpay/nfc work?
A: Yes, they do!
2. Does decryption work in recoveries?
A: Yeah, it does on newer ones (recommended TWRP 3.5.1+)
3. Does Volte/Vowifi work?
A: We got a few successful reports from people using them. In general if it worked before it should work now
4. I wanna check the integrity of the files, what are the MD5s?
A: regular: fa097bdd37169506ce1cbe125061ff45 plus: 5d876edf7e5191556e1c8f4191d722fd
5. Do you recommend flashing force encryption remover?
A: No. It's a very important security feature and disabling it is just stupid
6. Is OTA fine?
A: Of course!
I tried but seems cts fails... though playstore is certified

Glad that it's not just me - does seem to be an EE thing...

Spent a couple of hours this evening trying to get it to work.

My EE sim works perfectly on the latest build of Pixel Experience Plus on my Poco F1, so the sim is fine.
I've tried every network option. APNs are all correct.

The phone sees LTE availability at the cell tower - a signal checker app confirms this - the top bar shows LTE or LTE+, but the cross remains on the signal graph and it refuses to allow mobile data....

back to the 2105 version until someone can work out why I guess... Shame because otherwise it's an excellent ROM and I'd like the speakerphone fix working.
Hey mate, as above installing the CloudflareDNS4Magisk module via magisk gets everything working again ! :)
    2
Just trying to help. Are you guys using using anything to block add. Like dns.adblock.com

Not to my knowledge mate. The odd thing is that I can still receive messages over WhatsApp but I'm unable to browse to any sites using Chrome or whatever.

I did suspect a DNS issue but using termux I can still resolve websites etc but telnet never works on 80/443 unless I'm on WiFi.

Hi mate, never heard of stormbreaker... is that a custom firmware?

To confirm, you've got a poco x3, on EE network and you can use mobile internet using latest pixel experience with stormbreaker firmware?

if so can you provide a link so I can look into it and do the same :)
I had the same issue on the latest ArrowOS build, figure it was the DNS so I flashed "CloudflareDNS4Magisk" using magisk and my mobile data is working again. Im not sure what DNS settings it was using before or why the update changed it but this seems to work for me and now uses CF's DNS which is nice and fast,
    Hope it helps.

    Glad it worked,

I prefer to avoid Magisk if at all possible - can't be bothered with the constant hassle with banking apps etc and magiskhide - Might have to investigate if there's an alternative way to do the same thing...
You can specify your own DNS servers .
    • Go to Settings > Network & internet > Advanced > Private DNS.
    • Select the Private DNS provider hostname option.
    • Enter one.one.one.one or 1dot1dot1dot1.cloudflare-dns.com and hit Save.
    • Visit 1.1.1.1/help to verify DNS over TLS is enabled.

What FIRMWARE? Is it that one buggy 12.0.8.0 on android 10 that has issues with proximity sensor because this rom proximity has the same issues.
I have the same question, which firmware is included with this build? The last fw I flashed was V12.0.8.0.QJGMIXM.
One of the earlier 11 builds.
