How long has it been waiting at customs for? The last official build was in April.

He's giving it a lot of attention. There's a second build for July which fixes some issues.

It has been waiting in the customs since the 8th of june, he only noticed that on the 30th since he was not given a tracking number when the device was shipped from Canada to Brazil. Because he did not pay the customs the fee, the shipment just sat there for over 20 days. He made the payment right after that and now has a tracking number. He is now waiting for the device to arrive.

It seems that PE is moving to Android 13 alpha/beta for most devices, rather than continuing to update Android 12 until the end of the year like previously advised.

I flashed Chris' unofficial Android 13 build. Dirty flashes are supposed to work, but mine boot-looped. I had to dirty flash Android 12 to resolve it.

If you scroll up to where it says Surya in the following link, it says that dirty flash should work. However, it didn't for me, so I had to dirty flash the previous build in order to boot. You could try it, but I suspect you'll also get a bootloop and will need to wipe data. I didn't end up trying the new build, as I didn't want to set up everything from scratch.

It seems like even the non-official builds have stalled. A12 hasn't been updated since August and there have been no further A13 betas. I guess it's time to consider switching to ArrowOS or crDroid.

I can't view that link, as I don't have a Telegram account. I've just been checking the link that's been previously posted here, which is https://t.me/s/ChrisL7RN7 and the builds were at https://sourceforge.net/projects/lavenderbr/files/A12/A13/surya. It seems like the announcements and the downloads have moved. It's too hard keeping track of it when there are other ROMs available.

At first, I did not have a telegram account either. Later, though, I decided to create one and it was absolutely worth it. I have found absolute gems of roms on telegram and I can keep myself updated on recent developments, I totally recommend it.

I switched to ArrowOS 12.1 because of that. I'm thinking about installing pixelOS that is based in pixel experience, but no rush.

PixelExperience seems to be in a bit of a mess for most devices. Many don't have betas for A13, and A12 hasn't been updated since August. Surely A12 should be patched until A13 becomes official.

In contrast, ArrowOS has been releasing updates for A12, despite releasing A13 betas, and some devices have received A13 official already. Some devices continue to receive updates for A11, despite having A12 builds. I'm not saying it's a better ROM, but I think it's better organised.
