Switching to OrangeFox Recovery did the trick, i successfully flashed this rom and it is awesome!

This ROM is an absolute gem in it's own right. I didn't root it at first but had to because I was kind of missing double tap to lock function which isn't available in native launcher. One plus launcher is working well as well as GCam. Thanks for your work @Bicet
Quick setting icon skins of Squircle and Square will be much appreciated.

Download latest version (4.0 fixed) and install inside Magisk as module or from orange fox recovery.

Sure: had merged my sd card with local storage and then I just said what if it's because of that. I unmounted sd card now it's just used for external storage and apps are on local storage. It worked.

Install magisk to check safetynet? That's strange man. SafetyNet failed because you've installed magisk. Now to pass this test you need to hide magisk (in the magisk app) from SafetyNet app (and other app you need, such as Google pay, bank app etc).

If you want to use, tap to pay, your phone needs to have nfc,
Poco x3 has two variants
global poco x3 nfc with 5000mah battery
indian poco x3 with 6000mah battery and no nfc.

Check which version your phone is.
Try CPU-z to check the hardware specs of your phone.

Then the tap to pay feature should work theoretically, check the payment app and the terminal again, may be they have a issue with accepting cards with tap to pay feature.
