One could argue if it is indeed common sense to go investigate an update that does in no way indicate it is actually for a completely different ROM (which it technically is) and will probably bootloop your device. If it is expected it will pop up for people using the previous version, I think it would be prudent to at least include some kind of warning or version number instead of relying on "common sense", because "common sense" generally tends to be a very unreliable and, more importantly, very subjective thing. After all, it seems like some people have already made that mistake, reading through this thread.
But fair enough. It was just an observation.
