I suggest yes. Just backup through Migrate or Titanium
While I really appreciate that someone is working on this ROM again, it's kinda unfortunate that it shows up as a system update on the old Android 10 Evo X ROM. I'm fairly glad I did go check what the update is about before flashing it, because I don't think that would've ended well.
We use the same OTA system, so of course it would show up. I would argue that custom ROM users would use common sense before going into any updates of sorts.
One could argue if it is indeed common sense to go investigate an update that does in no way indicate it is actually for a completely different ROM (which it technically is) and will probably bootloop your device. If it is expected it will pop up for people using the previous version, I think it would be prudent to at least include some kind of warning or version number instead of relying on "common sense", because "common sense" generally tends to be a very unreliable and, more importantly, very subjective thing. After all, it seems like some people have already made that mistake, reading through this thread.

The thing is, I've made several updates on the Android 11 platform already. I'd expect most users have already updated one way or another, either through telegram, XDA, sourceforge, etc. During the first update to Android 11, I added a note to clean flash if coming from Android 10. So if you missed that, that's not really my concern.

hello guys and developers behind this project, is there any version of this ROM without Gapps? I really really want this ROM but Gapps being flashed with it is holding me back from flashing this ROM.
Hi every on, i'm getting stuck on the logo screen (bootloop) every time I try to install the ROM. I've made wipe data/dalvik/system, install the ROM and then install the twrp. does anyone know what it could be?
It works but depending on carrier. In my phone got 2 sim cards, for one it's working perfectly, for second it's not available for mi a1 ;/Does this rom support vowifi/wifi calling?

Yes, I am aware of the fact that the carrier might not support the device. But I was wondering whether the rom supports it on behalf of the device, because of the fact that the Mi A1 stock rom does not support the vowifi feature at all.
Since this rom at least supports it. the only way to find out if my carrier also supports it is to install it and give it a try

8Another bugfix update. Just a hint. This might be the final build for Android 11 as the team will be preparing for Android 12's stable release by next month.
