Hi, thx for nice ROM, just flashed it, but have one problem, my device is not certified, so I cannot install some apps (e.g. revolut), I already try this

but nothing, security check in magisk is red. Root checker is ok. Any ideas?

You need to enable MagiskHide in Magisk's settings.

Finally got the time to install the ROM, aaaaaand it can't get past the boot animation. I've waited close to an hour just to give my dying phone the benefit of the doubt, but still nothing. Wiped cache, system and data -> Installed the ROM --> Reboot to System, the same thing multiple times on different slots as well. Will try flashing Magisk after installing the ROM to see if it fixes anything.

Edit: It did not fix anything. It further put my phone into a bootloop as if there wasn't an OS installed at all. I guess it's back to Android 10 for me :\

Edit 2: I tried restoring my Android 10 backup.ab, and it got stuck on "Restoring efs2..." for a while so I restarted the device to recovery, and tried again. After that, it didn't even go past restoring the system image. I tried installing Evo X (the latest version, and the version before) and now it shows the Evo X boot animation for a split second before going into a bootloop. I have no idea what's wrong but what I do know is that my phone is essentially useless at the moment.

Edit 3: Finally, after hours, I found an old TWRP backup and installed the System, Boot, and EFS partitions from there while keeping the Data partition from the backup.ab. My phone is functional now. Still no Evo X tho

I think you missed flashing twrp installer after rom flash before first boot..may be this step prevents your device to boot with evox rom

Ohh, I missed that step when tried to flash EvoX, thank you for the advice.

I thought that was an optional step in the case someone didn't have TWRP installed. My bad. Also, by installer do you mean the recovery image or the installer zip that is provided on TWRP's site? I haven't updated my TWRP in a while so I'm new to these new installers.

Edit: Nope, still doesn't boot even after following the instructions to a tee.

Hello. First, I must say that this rom is successfully done, an incredible job, it's so amazing and I have my first experience with android 11 with my old phone. The real issue I wanna notice is my microphone is not working properly: sometimes without a visible reason, it stops capturing my voice and other times it doesn't work just after I finish a call. I don't know if the last update brings my phone this problem, but I got this since the last time I receive a 1 GB update (it includes light blinking and other functionalities). If someone can help me, would be great and if not, I hope this advice will be useful for further updates.

Honestly dunno what different installation procedure you've been doing. I've been dirty flashing my own ROM while being encrypted for months and have no issues booting else I wouldn't be uploading any updates at all.

Could the fact that I'm not encrypted be the problem? I don't get any prompts to enter a decryption password when I boot into TWRP. Might be something in Evo X that clashes with that.

Nvm, I realize my device is encrypted but uses the default password to decrypt everytime. Doesn't change the fact that I can boot into EVERY ROM except for Evolution X (tried PE, dotOS, CherishOS). I just want the stability of Pixel Experience, with the customization that Evolution X brings :\

After installing the latest version, when opening any categories under device settings, it just overlays the next set of options.
