I tried to flash Havoc-OS-v4.10 but both dirty and clean flash lead to bootloop. What's wrong?

Have to be very careful whether the ROM is for clover or clover plus. Its stated in the filename. Flash ROM for wrong device and it will boot loop

No, ici did not release one.
I've switched to using cherish os by ici, which has oct update. Working well too.

I have never tried it, but I suggest you revert to the stock Android10 ROM with MiFlash -- being very wary of any errors that might show up -- and only then flash the desired custom ROM.

If all goes well, it shouldn't trigger Anti-RollBack (ARB) protection -- in case anything goes awry, just reflash your current A11 ROM. YMMV, though.

I'm using Havoc 4.10 on the 8 inch and its working perfectly fine. Super smooth.

The second one in your list. I just tried it and it installed perfectly fine. It says Plus but I can confirm it works on the 8 inch. I also flashed another twrp: second one here:

After flashing ROM reboot to recovery and then flash GAPPS or it will bootloop.

If its only an updated Havoc OS you're after, you can try this:
