Hello, has anyone manage to boot on the latest version? I am currently running Lineage (Linux4), so I switched to TWRP, format data, format everything else, flash led the ROM successfully, flash boot image, but it boot loops. Tried starting again, format everything, flashed ROM, same boot loop.

Tried using latest TWRP, from their site. Also tried the two before the latest version, but same deal.

I' also had trouble trying to update from 5.1 to 5.1.1: just tried once but got stuck on boot even if I did the same thing as the update from 5.0 to 5.1.
I reverted to 5.1 and I still have to try again the update.

use official twrp. format everything except sd card. thn install the rom. If you're talking about magisk thn don't flash it immediately. Let the phn start to system after flashing the rom. thn flash thn magisk img to boot partition thn restart your phn.

I did try this, but the first thing that happened is that as soon as I try to wipe, I get an unable to mount message. So have to format data, then wipe everything, and once I flash the room it just boot loops. Should I flash multidisabler, although I am already running a custom ROM? Thanks for your help.

Double tap to Sleep anywhere on home screen?

Pixel launcher is the default launcher With gapps version. No double tap to sleep on the home screen.

1) What is the default launcher in without gapps (vanilla build) ?
2) I tried lawnchair 2, but it doesn't support android 11 nice animations. I tried force animations enabler using adb but it didn't work. Is there anyway to have 3rd party launcher with original animations?

Thank you guys..

The rom is awesome, beautiful & functions smoothly. Appreciate the work & thanks again.

Anyway to disable vibration when using fingerprint unlock?
I hate vibrations. I looked everywhere but couldn't find.

Thanks.

I have some contacts i cant talk with, because their voices are scambled. This was even on Stock ROM and disappeared when deactivating VOLTE. I installed VOLTE Check and it says it is active.
Any hint what to try?

Thanks Thomas

Hi, whenever i try to register a fingerprint, my device tells me that the fingerprint enrollment failed and that i should try again with another finger, which doesn't work either. Does anyone have a solution so i can register my fingerprints? This also happens on other aosp-based roms, however stock Samsung Firmware works fine.
Thanks!

Edit: So i decided to clarify a bit!

This is when i try to add a Fingerprint, no matter if i do it when i first set up the Phone or when adding them afterwards.

Next this Screen comes up...
1626290381964.png

When i touch the Sensor once, this message pops up...
1626290411229.png

when i click on OK and go back to the home screen, the fingerprint-symbol in the Bottom keeps being displayed.
This happens also on any other AOSP-based rom, but not on samsung based firnware (also custom roms, not just stock)
If anyone has a hint, please let me know, i really would like to use this rom, but this one thing really bugs me a lot.

Thank you everone!

I managed to solve this issue by reflashing a couple times and/or rebooting a few times too.

Foregoing the FP enrollment at setup, rebooting, and then trying to add your fingerprints in the security settings menu could be the way to do it?
It didn't seem too bad to fix, I thought it may have had something to do with the magisk boot image or my magisk flashed TWRP, but iirc neither was a problem.
Hope this helps at all.

Thanks for answering so quickly!

I tried a dirty flash and unfortunately it didn't help. Clean flashing doesn't solve the problem either. This happens, no matter if i have magisk installed or not i'm thinking magisk is not relevant to this problem.

I tried rebooting multiple time, but get greeted with the same popup when trying to add a fingerprint. Face unlock works fine btw.

I've read something about deleting the file /data/system/users/0/settings_fingerprint.xml however this file is not present on my device... could this be the issue?

Anyway thanks again for your help, hope i can get this fix fixed quickly

Edit: So i decided to dig a little bit deeper and get some Logs from when i try to register my Fingerprints!
Maybe those can give someone a better understanding of the problem:

Screenshot_20210715-103235.png
Screenshot_20210715-103243.png

I got those Logs from the app CatLog...
Hopefully these can help resolve the problem!

Another Edit: Finally good news! I fixed the problem by discovering this comment in the LineageOS 18.1 Thread.
I was just holding down my finger on the reader for too long... when just tapping it for a split second, i was then able to register my fingerprint as i would normally! The fingerprint sensor works flawless now!

Thanks again for anyone who helped!

Also, not sure if this is a problem with aosp or the device, but it might be worth looking into fixing it, cause there really are no resources online for how to fix it, apart from the comment i linked above. This might move people away from the ROM if they face the same problem as i did!
