So, after a few days of testing I have to say it didn't change much.

Good thing: Android Auto works now!

It still doesn't wake up and now the integrated camera app doesn't take videos.
I checked the proximity sensor and it registers reliably.
I have a feeling that it doesn't wake up properly in sunlight though.
Sometimes I get it going by double pressing the power button to start the camera, then home button. Sometimes I get in, other times not.

Is there any procedure that worked for you? I will try a full reset but can't do it yet as I'm in need of the ohone every hour without backup.

Thanks!

ah yes, always end on a positive note: Android Auto works and I love the brightness slider.

Hello,

Did someone see any development on this?

I am still using it with all flaws because i haven't found any time to play around or find an alternative. Can someone recommend a new link or a different ROM for this phone?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 11, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

I don't know how to fix that error, but there is another way that I like and use a lot to root, I didn't try it on OnePlus tho.
You can download the apk of the Magisk Manager and rename the extension of it to zip.
Then you can flash the zip with TWRP or similar recoveries and Magisk then installs itself through the recovery.

Would this ROM also work on the

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 128GB black 5G

that i am planning to buy?

i have flashed ROM’s in the past, but my last Android phone was a Samsung Galaxy S1 so i am a bit behind times. But recently ive grown out of the Apple ecosystem. I can get the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G for a reasonable price, but would like to run Lineage OS on it, because im not overly fond of Google either :) So i’m back at looking at custom roms :)

i am willing to help in getting the device supported, but honestly, i have to get my bearings again first :)

    CHANGELOG:
    -
    sync with last source
    - fix wi-fi for EU and GLO
    - etc

    UPDATING THE ROM:

Unless I say the opposite in the update announcement, this ROM can be updated using by two steps:
    1. OTA update method

    - SystemSettings
    - Update system
    - Download new version
    - let the system do everything by itself

    2. the dirty flash method.

In order to do so, follow these steps:
-Download the new version of the ROM you are using (microG/vanilla)
-Reboot into recovery: adb reboot recovery
-DO NOT CLICK ON FACTORY RESET / WIPE DATA
-Flash the Zip-File of the new ROM: adb sideload rom.zip

How stable is this for daily driving? How's the overall experience? Does USB-tethering work? I'm dying to get off of OxygenOS.
I run the gappless version and i have not found any major bugs. It runs pretty well for me.

Hi, Great, thanks a lot for releasing LineageOS for this phone!!

Would it be possible to add a build without gapp?
    Greetings seven

    EDIT:
    Hey,
Have tested today, installed with their OrangeFox recovery build, Boots not, endless the Linage logo.

    Thanks, that sucks :D

    Edit:
Finally Solved with your Revovery.img + Instructions,
It was not possible to avoid the formatting.
I built the rom without gapps.

I've been having the same issues lately. I found a workaround to start the camera through double power button press. I had to do it multiple times and at some stage it would wake up.

Can you provide a new link for the ROM please? It's dead at the moment.
    Much appreciated
