Dumb question, but is there a way to get google feeds on this ROM? Should I be looking for a flashable file or just the pixel launcher that's compatible with a11?
Versions made for older versions of android are compatible with newer versions, you could use the original poco launcher if you want to

Hey, just took my X3 from the box. I saw that other ROMs require flashing X version of MIUI, while this doesn't and that seems kinda weird to me. I'm currently running MIUI 12.0.2, should I update/downgrade? What should I know before jumping into TWRP and flashing this ROM straight away?

obv i have to wait 7 days before I can unlock BL

Flash global ROM of 12.0.3 or at least it's global vendor/firmware otherwise wifi won't work

Can someone plz post a list of instructions? Read about this version checking thing that might brick your device :( I have just today unlocked my device and would LOVE to get LineageOS on it.

Magisk Hide

You need to hide COD Mobile, including other games such as PUBG Mobile. This issue occured with me, I kept getting kicked out of a match in COD Mobile, got banned for an hour till I finally figured out that the app was detecting root. Upon hiding it in Magisk Hide, everything went back to normal and I was able to play full matches without any interruptions. Hope this is the answer you're looking for. :good:

For now you should use: OrangeFox Recovery R11.6 as it's currently the most stable recovery, as of now. You can even dirty flash. Supports A11 Custom ROMs, I've flashed Lineage 18.0 with OFOX and it went smoothly.

Note: Make sure latest OrangeFox Recovery R11.6 is installed (Supports A11 Custom ROMs)

1. Flash Xiaomi.eu 12.0.3 (only if you are on 12.0.2) if you're already on 12.0.3 then continue to Step 2.

2. Flash Lineage 18.0
3. Format data > Type YES
4. Reboot to system
5. Complete initial setup

If you also want root, follow additional steps:
6. Reboot to recovery
7. Flash Magisk 21.0
8. Wipe cache (optional)
9. Reboot to system

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

for me, it makes sense. for now, no official opengapps 11 available and my experience with nitrogenos and nikgapps offers problems for daily usage.

Depends on why you want to get rid of MIUI, personally it's to avoid Google's bloat and run ( mostly ) free and open source software, if tommorow a linux distro shipped with Microsoft Edge or whatever I would make sure to not touch it, I guess that's why people are into LOS, but hey I'm sure many people don't care tho, if it wasn't a thing nobody would put instructions to install gapps after all

From what I have seen until now, the XDA threads are here because its a requirement to create one. However, the real support is done in the telegram channels (like https://t.me/pocox3globalofficial).
I use this LineageOS rom as a daily driver. I have only minor complaints. The APN needs to be set on each reboot, but I do not reboot often. And (for me) its cumbersome to switch between different bluetooth speakers. But its running stable and I am happy with the battery life. I am using the gcam but have not played with the stock camera before, so I can not compare. See this thread for a comparison: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/gcam-for-poco-x3.4164397
You can also install gcam on MIUI and directly compare if you like before switching to a custom rom.

Edit: Got best results with recent version from Nikita. But that might change quickly, just follow the thread or Telegram channel. Currently I have:
