As for daily driver I don't recommend this rom till now, bcoz it hangs for unknown reasons , even full restart and cache cleaning don't solving the problems. External SD card reading is slower in this build as compared to previous PE 10 +.

I'm facing the same issue. I'm using this rom for 5 days

I just installed the ROM. It's pretty great! Though I noticed that it replaced my recovery. Is it possible to flash a different recovery like OrangeFox or something?

Edit: I think I messed it up.

I tried to install OrangeFox but when I tried to boot it, it was just stuck at the Google logo. Same with booting to system. I can boot to fastboot only.

I need to use the "fastboot continue" command to be able to boot into the system. And if I try to reboot, it gets stuck on the logo and I need to use the "fastboot continue" command again.

I seem to be unable to flash any recovery (FAILED (Write to device failed in SendBuffer() (Too many links))) unless I clear the cache via "fastboot erase cache". And when I do flash the recovery, I can't use it cause it just gets stuck on the logo.

Anyone got any ideas on fixing this?

Edit 2: Managed to restore recovery. Did this by erasing userdata via "fastboot erase userdata" and "fastboot erase cache" and flashing PE recovery. Back to my first question, can I use a recovery other than PE recovery? How do I do it, if it's possible?

As far as I'm aware*, the answer is pretty much no, the way the PE devs have been doing it for a number of years now is to require their own recovery, I believe it's so they can ensure OTA works.

If you want PE, you need PE recovery, unfortunately there's not a lot you can do about it. If you want a different recovery like Orange Fox you'll have to switch to a different ROM.

There's a few good options which can give you the almost same experiance as this ROM.

With that said, using the rom's official recovery isn't so bad if it's the only ROM your using. If it boots, works and allows you to enjoy the ROM.. happy days!

1. open terminal

2. Paste these commands (Root required)

su -c chcon -R
ubject_rersist_sensors_file:s0 /mnt/vendor/persist/sensors

4. Then Reboot

5. check sensors , Enjoy without losing your data

•I can't reduce volume over speaker calls. And sometimes volume stuck to max even on blutooth earphones.

I just installed the ROM PE Plus 11 on redmi note 7 pro, and facing slow charging issue using original 5v 2A charger, current draw is only 400 to 700mAh. On the install instructions page, it says install via adb sideload, but there's also PE recovery file.. How one should install this ROM?
BTW, i installed this via orange recovery.

U can install from both methods either sideload rom or just flast it from any custom recovery ( I prefer Orangefox if u want to receive OTA updates)...
Regarding Charging issues...then try to clean flash the rom..make sure you make a backup if anything goes wrong...
