Issues faced after flashing Android 11 dated 19 Jan on my Redmi 7 Pro Violet:
1. Unable to do Video call on Volte - Volte mode.
2. Very low volume during calling on Volte.
3. No recorder option during call.
4. Unable to transfer data to pc via file transfer mode.
5. Face unlock not available.

I am also facing the same problems.

Hi Shubham,
I have started facing this bug post OTA update on this rom. I cannot change the volume while in a Whatsapp call. When I press the volume keys, I do see the panel and I can lower it by sliding it down, but the volume of call doesnt change. Please advise a fix.

Bro I don't think that's a bug...
Well I have been using this ROM as my daily driver from last 5 months...I don't face any issues regarding changing volume either in whatsapp or make a direct call... whether from headsets or using earpiece...
I think maybe u should clean flash the ROM as sometimes it creates issues with the device like sensors gone,volume not working,etc...

U can install from both methods either sideload rom or just flast it from any custom recovery ( I prefer Orangefox if u want to receive OTA updates)...
Regarding Charging issues...then try to clean flash the rom..make sure you make a backup if anything goes wrong...

I did install it again via recovery Orange. But the problem remains.. I then flashed custom kernel and it seemed to fix the issue for few days... Now the slow charging issue is back.

I will try a different rom and see how it goes...

BUG:
There's a bug in ROM that whenever I use Google photos editor... there's a notification gets sticked regarding Updating photos editor and it remains sticky unless we force stop Google photos in settings...

There is no any applocker in this rom
It's not safe to use third party app lock for personal apps.
Please add app locker in this rom for redmi note 7 pro. Maintainer Shubham Das.

I tried to update my Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro, following the procedure on the web page https://wiki.pixelexperience.org/devices/violet/install/.
At the end of the whole procedure, the google logo appears twice and then the TWRP screen appears.
I can't figure out where the mistake is.
Perhaps because the message "adb: failed to read command: Success / No error."

I thank in advance who can help me

If your device is decrypted then you have to install updates manually by using any custom ROM...
If you want updates to be installed automatically,then I prefer Orangefox recovery to use and enable OTA updates in settings before flashing ROM..
NOTE:- This method requires device to be encrypted properly...

How do I know if the device is encrypted correctly?
I tried to do the flashing with two other versions (ppui and crdroid) and I always have the same problem, at startup the version logo appears and then it doesn't go further.

If you are changing ROMs then visit this thread strictly follow steps given in thread...if don't want any issues..

2) When I do Advanced Wipe I get the error message operation not permitted.
3) when in sequence I do the following operations (Flash latest Chinese wkly fw, Flash ROM, Flash GAPPS, Flash Fcrypt), it tells me successful, but the text is red and it says operation not permitted.
Where am I wrong?

Can't say anything about why you are facing such issues regarding flashing ROMs...maybe u should try flashing it after flashing stock ROM for violet device..
Make sure your device bootloader unlocked and allow usb debugging....

Facing mic issue during calls, person on the opposite side is not able to hear me clearly untill i speak too loudly. This issue is only in AOSP roms. Is there a fix for this.? There is no issues in miui based roms.

I installed the latest build and I think I am unable to use my wifi's full potential because I tested in my laptop and other phones they are getting full speed but I am getting half of it.
Hope it will get fixed.

Some issues I'm facing with this rom
1 unable to use 48mp camera
2 camera quality is worst then ever
3 slow wifi and internet speed
4 no call recording option
5 very low sound on calls

Please fix them
